Karimugan (transl.Blackfaced man) is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy drama film written and directed by Chella Thangaiah. The film stars folk singer Senthil Ganesh and Gayatri Rema in the main lead roles. [1] [2] The plot of the film based on the teenage love and about a man Karimugan who hails from Pudukkottai comes to Chennai to solve his family dispute. The music for the film and the lyrics for the film were also written by the director Chella Thangaiah. It was released on 25 October 2018 and received extremely negative reviews from critics. Production

The film project was announced by director Chella Thangaiah, who is well known as the music teacher of popular folk singer Senthil Ganesh. This was Senthil Ganesh's second film after Thirudu Pogatha Manasu (2014) and was also the second collaboration between Senthil Ganesh and Chella Thangaiah. [5] Senthil was signed to play the lead role in the film as an electrician while being a contestant in the Super Singer 6 . [6] Newcomer Gayatri Rema made her film acting debut through this film who was originally based from Kerala and was roped into play the female lead opposite Senthil Ganesh in the film after being auditioned. [2]

Nippon Paint Super Singer 6 was a 2018 Indian Tamil language Reality singing competition show, the sixth season of the Super Singer show, which aired on Star Vijay on every Saturday and Sunday at 19:00 (IST) starting from 21 January 2018 until 15 July 2018. Nippon Paint sponsored the season after Airtel discontinued its sponsoring. The show was hosted by Makapa Anand and Priyanka Deshpande. The Judges of the show were the popular playback singers Anuradha Sriram, P. Unnikrishnan, Benny Dayal and Shweta Mohan. The Grand finale was held on 15 July 2018 at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai and was a live telecast through Star Vijay. Golden voice Rakshitha, Sreekanth, Shakthi, Anirudh, Malavika and Senthil Ganesh were the final 6 contestants. Folk singer Senthil Ganesh emerged as the title winner of the show who also got a chance to sing in A.R. Senthil Ganesh is an Indian folk, playback singer and actor. He rose to prominence after winning the reality show, Super Singer 6, in 2018 which was aired in Star Vijay. He made his acting debut with the film Thirudu Pogatha Manasu (2014). He married fellow folk singer Rajalakshmi in 2012.

Pei Irukka Bayamen is a 2021 Tamil language horror comedy film directed by S. Kaarthieswaran and starring S. Kaarthieswaran and Gayatri Rema in the lead roles. Produced by Thilaka Arts, it was released on 1 January 2021.

Maharani Kottai is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language horror comedy drama film written and directed by S. Vinod Kumar. The film features Richard and Annie Prince Nag in the lead roles, alongside Senthil and Ganesh. Produced by Thanamalar Creations, the film was released on 10 July 2015.

Take Diversion is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by Sivaani Senthil and starring Sivakumar, Padine Kumar, Ramachandran Durairaj and John Vijay. It was released on 20 May 2022.

Sivi 2 is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language horror thriller film directed by K. R. Senthil Nathan as a prequel to his earlier film, Sivi (2007). The film stars Tej Charanraj, Swathisha, Yogi and Gayatri Rema in the lead roles. A remake of the Korean film Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (2018) was released on 22 July 2022.

Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai is an 2019 Indian Tamil-language reality television show airs on Star Vijay and streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. Over three years, Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai has rolled out four seasons and Ma Ka Pa Anand continued as a host for four seasons. and Aranthangi Nisha continued as a host for three seasons. Devadarshini and Gopinath Chandran as the judges for four seasons.
