Franklyn De Karl Jones (born 4 April 1957 in Llantwit Major, Wales) is a British former auto racing driver. He is best known for competing in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC)
Jones started racing in 1981, finishing third in his debut season in the Junior Formula Ford 1600 Championship. The following year he finished as runner-up, then champion in 1983 of Brands Hatch FF1600. In 1985 he competed in the BRSCC Production Saloon Championship, finishing as runner-up. He went on to be champion of the series in 1986, driving a Fiat Strada. He spent one more season in the championship, this time competing in a Ford Escort RS Turbo.
He stepped up to the BTCC in 1988, competing for two seasons in his Duckhams backed Class A Ford Sierra RS500. [1] During his time here, he managed two second-place finishes. He did not return in 1990 due to budget reasons. He did compete in the Willhire 24 Hour race that yearIn 1991 he competed in selected events of both the Renault Clio Cup and Ford Fiesta Championship. Jones made a return to the BTCC in 1992, with a BMW M3 for the independent Techspeed Racing team. A troubled season ended after round ten at Knockhill with no championship points. [2]
In 1993 Jones switched from touring cars to compete in the RS2000 rallysport series with a car owned by Blakes Ford of Liverpool. In 1994 he competed in the Ford Fiesta Championship entered again by Blakes and sponsored by Duckhams.

Thorkild Thyrring is a Danish auto racing driver. He drove several times in the Le Mans 24 hour race, most recently in 2005 and 2006 for Sebah Automotive Ltd in a Porsche 911 GT3. His best result in the race was finishing nineteenth overall in 2005. Previously he raced a Lotus in 1993 and 1994 and a Corvette in 1995. His team had failed to finish the race in all of these previous attempts.
Valentino Musetti, often known as just Val Musetti, is an Italian-born English film and TV stuntman and retired motor racing driver. Highlights of his career include finishing third in the Shellsport International Series in 1977. In 1978 he finished fifth in the Aurora F1 Championship. In the late 1980s he drove in the FIA World Sportscar Championship. He competed in one round of the 1991 British Touring Car Championship at Donington Park. With a privately entered BMW M3, he finished in thirteenth place. That year he also entered the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but his team failed to qualify.
Robin Charles Brundle is a British racing driver and businessman. In January 2009, he was appointed as managing director of Lola Cars. He still occasionally competes in historic racing events. Robin is the younger brother of former Formula One driver and current Sky Sports F1 commentator Martin Brundle.
Ian Forrest is a British auto racing driver.
Philip Colin Dowsett is a British retired racing driver. He initially competed in Formula Ford, Formula Three and Formula Atlantic in the 1970s, finishing as runner-up in the 1979 and 1980 National Formula Atlantic Championships. He competed regularly in the British Touring Car Championship during the 1980s in a Toyota Corolla GT. In 1988 and 1989 he won consecutive class D titles, becoming the last driver to win that class. He finished as runner-up in the championship overall in 1988, five points behind champion Frank Sytner. He is the father of racing cyclist Alex Dowsett.
Vincent Michael Woodman was a British racing driver. He started racing in 1965 and competed mainly in touring cars, mostly with cars from the Ford marque. In 1973 he finished third overall in the British Saloon Car Championship, driving a 1300cc Ford Escort. He finished fifth in the BSCC in 1982, winning four races outright, the last wins for a Ford Capri. Woodman died on 2 June 2021.

Warwick Banks is a British former racing driver. He was a race winner in British Formula Three for Tyrrell Racing during the 1960s and was teammate of Jackie Stewart during his first season in 1964. He won the European Touring Car Championship in 1964, and in 1965 he finished runner-up in the British Saloon Car Championship with a class-winning Austin Mini Cooper S.
Stuart Anthony Crudgington is a British auto racing driver. He regularly competed in the British Touring Car Championship during the nineteen-eighties with cars from the Toyota marque. His most successful season came in 1988, finishing second in Class D and sixth overall. His final season in the BTCC was in 1989, finishing eighth overall and again runner-up in class D to Phil Dowsett. Crudgington still competes, mainly in historic events.
