Karolin Ohlsson (born 29 August 1991) is a Swedish orienteering competitor who competes internationally. She became world champion in the sprint relay in 2018.
Ohlsson was born in Stockholm, [1] and works as a silversmith in Stockholm. [2] [3]
Ohlsson won a silver medal in the relay at the 2014 European Orienteering Championships in Portugal with the Swedish team, and placed 12th in the sprint, and 17th in the long distance. [1] At the 2015 World Orienteering Championships in Inverness, she placed fifth in the mixed sprint relay, and tenth in the sprint final. [1] In the 2016 European Championships she placed 20th in the sprint and 35th in the long distance, and she placed 13th in the sprint at the 2016 World Orienteering Championships in Strömstad, Sweden. [1] She competed at the 2017 World Orienteering Championships in Tartu, Estonia, where she placed 11th in the sprint, and 27th in the long distance.
At the 2018 European Orienteering Championships in Switzerland she won a silver medal in the mixed sprint relay, and a silver medal in women's relay. She placed eighth in the sprint and ninth in the long distance. [1] She competed at the 2018 World Orienteering Championships in Latvia, where she placed fifth the sprint final, [4] and won a gold medal in the mixed sprint relay, together with Emil Svensk, Jonas Leandersson and Tove Alexandersson. [5] She was running the second leg in the women's relay at the 2018 World Championships, where Sweden won the silver medal, [6] with Helena Bergman on the first leg and Tove Alexandersson on the final leg. [7] She placed 21st in the middle course, [8] and seventh in the long distance in the 2018 World Championships. [9] In 2018 she was on the Järla IF club team which won the Tiomila relay. [2]
She participated in World Games 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama where she won a silver medal in the Middle Distance and placed 4th in the Individual Sprint.
Magne Dæhli is a Norwegian orienteering competitor, ski-orienteer, and cross-country skier. His achievements include five medals in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships, of which three are gold medals. His best individual performances include a silver medal in the long distance from the European Orienteering Championships, and a bronze medal in the middle distance from the 2019 World Orienteering Championships.
Maja Møller Alm is a Danish orienteering and Athletics competitor who has won seven World Championships and two World Games titles. She is especially known for her four gold medals on the sprint distance, where she has won the title four years in a row: 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. She is also a medalist from the Junior World Championships. Since 2006 she has been coached by Danish national coach Lars Lindstrøm. Alm is remarkable for her dominant running speed, which gives her a great advantage over other competitors at the sprint distance.
Ida Bobach is a Danish orienteering competitor who was Junior World Champion in 2009, and became triple Junior World Champion from 2010, when she won the sprint, long distance and the relay. She represents the club OK Pan Århus, and since 2007, has received training from Danish national coach Lars Lindstrøm. In 2015 she won gold medals at the World Championships in the long and Relay.
Tove Alexandersson is a Swedish foot orienteer, ski orienteer, skyrunner, trail runner and ski mountaineer. She has won a total of 19 gold medals at the World Orienteering Championships and 10 gold medals at the World Ski Orienteering Championships. In 2018, she won the Sky Marathon event at the Skyrunning World Championships, in her second skyrunning race ever. In 2021, she won the combined discipline at the World Championships of Ski Mountaineering, and in 2023 she won a silver medal in the up and down discipline at the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships. She competes for Stora Tuna OK in orienteering and Alfta-Ösa OK in ski orienteering. Alexandersson holds the record for the number of gold medals in a row at the World Orienteering Championships, winning 11 in a row between 2018 and 2022.
Jonas Leandersson is a Swedish orienteering competitor. He won a gold medal in the sprint at the 2012 European Orienteering Championships in Falun. Gold at the 2014 European Orienteering Championships in relay and gold at the 2014 World Orienteering Championships relay competing with the same relay team.
The 35th World Orienteering Championships were held in Latvia in August 2018. The hosts were Riga, Sigulda and Turaida.

Sigrid Alexandersen is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. At the 2018 European Orienteering Championships in Cadempino she won a bronze medal in the sprint relay with the Norwegian team, achieved a fourth place in the women's relay, placed 13th in the sprint, and 8th in the long distance. She competed at the 2018 World Orienteering Championships in Latvia, where she qualified for the sprint final. She was also Norwegian champion in sprint in 2018.
Emil Svensk is a Swedish orienteering competitor. He was born in Borlänge. He won a gold medal in the middle distance at the 2013 Junior World Orienteering Championships. At the 2018 European Orienteering Championships in Cadempino he won a silver medal in the mixed sprint relay with the Swedish team. He competed at the 2018 World Orienteering Championships in Latvia, where he placed sixth in the sprint final, and won a gold medal in the mixed sprint relay, together with Karolin Ohlsson, Jonas Leandersson and Tove Alexandersson. In the 2019 World Orienteering Championships in Norway he participated in the winning Swedish relay team together with Johan Runesson and Gustav Bergman. Even in the 2023 World Orienteering Championships he participated together with Albin Ridefeldt and Gustav Bergman in the Swedish relay team which won the bronze medal.
Sara Hagström is a Swedish orienteering competitor. Her achievements include winning three world championship gold medals with the Swedish relay teams.

The 2023 Orienteering World Cup is the 28th edition of the Orienteering World Cup. The 2023 Orienteering World Cup consists of seven individual events and three relay events. The events are located in Norway, the Czech Republic, and Italy. The 2023 World Orienteering Championships in Switzerland are not included in the World Cup, but the European Orienteering Championships in Italy are part of the World Cup program. Non-European Orienteers can hence participate in the European Championships as well. Russian and Belarusian competitors are still banned, but this season saw Natalia Gemperle returning to the world cup, now competing for Switzerland.
