[1] [3] In the second half of the 2022–23 season, he became a regular starter, starting ten of nineteen matches before an injury ended his season. [4] [5]

On 1 November 2023, Ouattara signed a five-year contract with Ligue 1 club AS Monaco, [6] for a reported fee of 2 million, which could rise to €4 million with add-ons. [7] [8] The move was a "joker" transfer, following Caio Henrique's long-term injury. [7] [9]
