Katherine Cappelletti (born September 12, 2002) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for the North Carolina Courage of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She played college soccer for the Saint Joseph's Hawks of Philadelphia.

Early life and college career

Cappelletti began playing in goal when she was six. [2] She grew up in Fayetteville, New York, and attended Jamesville-DeWitt High School. [3] She played club soccer for Syracuse Development Academy. [3]

Cappeletti's freshman season with the Saint Joseph's Hawks was postponed to the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [4] In five seasons with the Hawks, she started 85 games and set a program record with 27 clean sheets. In her final season in 2024, she led the Atlantic 10 Conference in saves, posted 8 clean sheets (including one combined) in 20 games, and was named first-team All-A-10 and the A-10 Goalkeeper of the Year. Club career

Cappelletti began training with the North Carolina Courage as a non-roster invitee in the 2025 preseason. [6] On May 22, 2025, the Courage signed Cappelletti to a professional contract through the remainder of the season. [5]
