Catherine Rose Greves, also known as Katie Greves (born 2 September 1982, London), is an Olympic Games silver medallist British rower, triple Olympian and former European Champion.
Smaller than many of her competitors, Greves was known amongst peers for her outstanding technical proficiency and race-craft. She represented Headington School Oxford Boat Club and then University of London Boat Club whilst studying, followed by Leander Club for the majority of her international career. She is a life member of Wallingford Rowing Club. Her sister, Caroline, rowed at bow for Osiris in the 2015 reserve Women's Boat Race, and in winning became the first woman in history to cross the finish line of The Championship Course on the Tideway.
Having come fifth at both the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, she rowed at bow in the Team GB crew that won an historic silver medal in the women's eight at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. [1] This was the first Olympic medal that Team GB had ever won in this category.
She was part of the British squad that topped the medal table at the 2011 World Rowing Championships in Bled, where she won a bronze medal as part of the eight with Alison Knowles, Jo Cook, Jessica Eddie, Louisa Reeve, Natasha Page, Lindsey Maguire, Victoria Thornley and Caroline O'Connor. [2]
Greves is now an English teacher at St Edward's School, Oxford. A year after retirement from the sport, she (along with Debbie Flood) rowed in the Qualifying Races for the Princess Grace Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta with two 15-year-old students from Sir William Perkins's School to inspire the next generation of women rowers. Two days later, Greves competed at the Cycling Time Trials National 50mile Time Trial Championships in Teesside, winning the bronze medal at her first major championships in the sport. [4]

Caryn Davies is an American rower. She won gold medals as the stroke seat in women's eight at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2008 Summer Olympics. In April 2015 Davies stroked Oxford University to victory in the first ever women's Oxford/Cambridge boat race held on the same stretch of the river Thames in London where the men's Oxford/Cambridge race has been held since 1829. She was the most highly decorated Olympian to take part in either [men's or women's] race. In 2012 Davies was ranked number 4 in the world by the International Rowing Federation. At the 2004 Olympic Games she won a silver medal in the women's eight. Davies has won more Olympic medals than any other U.S. oarswoman. The 2008 U.S. women's eight, of which she was a part, was named FISA crew of the year. Davies is from Ithaca, New York, where she graduated from Ithaca High School, and rowed with the Cascadilla Boat Club. Davies was on the Radcliffe College (Harvard) Crew Team and was a member on Radcliffe's 2003 NCAA champion Varsity 8, and overall team champion. In 2013, she was a visiting student at Pembroke College, Oxford, where she stroked the college men's eight to a victory in both Torpids and the Oxford University Summer Eights races. In 2013–14 Davies took up Polynesian outrigger canoeing in Hawaii, winning the State novice championship and placing 4th in the long-distance race na-wahine-o-ke-kai with her team from the Outrigger Canoe Club. In 2013, she was inducted into the New York Athletic Club Hall of Fame. She has served as a Vice President of the U.S. Olympians Association and as athletes' representative to the Board of USRowing.
Alison Mowbray is a British former rower who won a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics competing in the women's quadruple scull.

Emma Kimberley Twigg is a New Zealand rower. A single sculler, she was the 2014 world champion and won gold in her fourth Olympics in Tokyo in July 2021. Previous Olympic appearances were in 2008, 2012, and 2016. She has retired from rowing twice, first for master-level studies in Europe in 2015 and then after the 2016 Olympics, disappointed at having narrowly missed an Olympic medal for the second time. After two years off the water, she started training again in 2018 and won silver at the 2019 World Rowing Championships. Since her marriage in 2020, she has become an outspoken advocate for LGBT athletes. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, Twigg won gold in the woman's single scull.
Helen Glover is a British professional rower and a member of the Great Britain Rowing Team. Ranked the number 1 female rower in the world in 2015–16, she is a two-time Olympic champion, triple World champion, quintuple World Cup champion and quadruple European champion. She and her partner Heather Stanning were the World, Olympic, World Cup and European record holders, plus the Olympic, World and European champions in the women's coxless pairs. She has also been a British champion in both women's fours and quadruple sculls.
Jane Robinson is an Australian former rower - a national champion, three-time World Champion and triple Olympian. She competed at the Summer Olympics in 1996, 2000 and 2004; and at World Rowing Championships in 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002, and 2003. She won World Championships as both a sculler and a sweep-oared rower. She attended Toorak College in Mount Eliza, Victoria.
Victoria Roberts is an Australian former rower, a dual Olympian, and a three-time world champion. She went back-to-back winning the coxless four World Championship title in 2001 and 2002.
Catriona Sens is an Australian former representative rower. She was a national champion, an underage 2002 world champion, a dual Olympian and won a silver medal at the 2006 World Rowing Championships. She rowed in the Australian women's eight at the 2004 Athens Olympics and in the double scull at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

In the four at the Tokyo 2020 she won a gold medal and became an Olympic champion.

She is a multiple Australian champion, a 2016 and 2020 Olympian and a world champion who won a 2017 world title in the coxless four and regained that same world title in 2019. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics she set the pace from the bow seat of the Australian coxless four to a gold medal victory. She won the Remenham Challenge Cup at the 2018 Henley Royal Regatta in the Australian women's eight.

She was a 2016 indoor rowing Australian champion and a winner of the Remenham Challenge Cup at the 2018 Henley Royal Regatta. She rowed in the Australian women's eight at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
