Kazakhstan participated in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Kazakhstan was represented by 37 athletes in eight sports. [1] Elena Khrustaleva won the country's only medal- a silver in the 15km individual biathlon.

Australia first competed in the Winter Olympic Games in 1936 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and has participated in every games since, with the exception of the 1948 Games in St. Moritz.
