Kazuya Shiojiri (born 8 November 1996) is a Japanese steeplechase and long-distance runner. He competed in the steeplechase at the 2016 Summer Olympics, but failed to reach the final. [1] He won a bronze medal in this event at the 2018 Asian Games.

Ezekiel Kemboi Cheboi is a Kenyan professional athlete, winner of the 3000 metres steeplechase at the 2004 Summer Olympics, the 2009 World Championships, the 2011 World Championships, the 2012 Summer Olympics, the 2013 World Championships and the 2015 World Championships. His 3000 m steeplechase best of 7:55.76 set at Monaco in 2011 places him as the seventh fastest of all time. This time is also the fastest non-winning time in history. Kōichirō Morioka is a Japanese race walker. He has enjoyed success at University and regional levels, having won two bronze medals at both the Summer Universiade and the Asian Games. Morioka has competed at the four World Championships in Athletics and has represented Japan at three Summer Olympics. He also won a silver medal at the 2009 East Asian Games.

Eiki Takahashi is a male Japanese racewalker. He competed in the 20 kilometres walk event at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics in Beijing, China. On 13 December 2015, he set the Asian record for the 10,000m race walk on a track. In 2016, he was the #1 ranked walker in the world for 20 km. As a result of his fast time in February, he was considered Japan's next great walking hope, replacing teammate world record holder Yusuke Suzuki. He walked in the 2016 Olympics where he walked with the lead (chase) pack until almost 14 km when eventual winner Cai Zelin broke the race open. Takahashi eventually finished 42nd.
