Frank Minis Johnson Jr. was a United States district judge and United States circuit judge serving 1955 to 1999 on the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He made landmark civil rights rulings that helped end segregation and disenfranchisement of African Americans in the South. John "Red" Brown was an American politician that served in both chambers of the Alabama Legislature, as a representative in the Republic of Texas and later as a state representative for Texas. He served briefly as the second Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives in the First Texas Legislature. Brown was also one of the founders of the Democratic Party in Texas and is the founder and namesake of Brownsboro, Texas. He had the shortest term as Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives, with only 7 days in office.
The 1915 Alabama Crimson Tide football team represented the University of Alabama in the 1915 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association football season. It was the Crimson Tide's 23rd overall and 20th season as a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAA). The team was led by head coach Thomas Kelley, in his first year. It was in 1915 Alabama moved its on campus home games from The Quad, where all on-campus home games had been played since 1893, and to a new location, University Field. Home games were also played at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama. They finished the season with an overall record of 6–2 record and mark of 5–0 in the SIAA.
Michael Dean Bishop is an American attorney and politician who was the U.S. representative for Michigan's 8th congressional district from 2015 to 2019. He is a member of the Republican Party. He previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1999 to 2003, and the Michigan State Senate from 2003 to 2010 where he served as majority leader.

Keith W. Kelley is an American immunophysiologist, researcher and academic. He is Professor Emeritus of Immunophysiology at the University of Illinois. Kelley was chosen as the second Editor-In-Chief of Brain, Behavior, and Immunity in 2003 and served in that capacity for 15 years. It is now considered “the best immunology journal in the neurosciences.” In 1994, he was elected as Secretary-Treasurer of the newly-formed Psychoneuroimmunology Research Society (PNIRS) and served as its President from 1999-2000. He retired from the University of Illinois in 2011, but continues to serve as a global leader in psychoneuroimmunology, creating PNIRSAsia-Pacific and PNIRSIbero-America. These scientific networks were formed to organize meetings that promote dialogue among Eastern and Western scientists engaged in psychoneuroimmunology research, as well as with those in South/Central America. As of 2023, over 30 of these meetings have been organized, mostly in China, but throughout the whole of Asia-Oceania.
