Robert Damien Bale Croft is a former Welsh cricketer who played international cricket for the England cricket team. He is an off-spin bowler who played for Glamorgan and captained the county from 2003 to 2006. He retired from first class cricket at the end of the 2012 season,having played county cricket for 23 seasons. He commentates on cricket occasionally for Sky Sports.
Steven Llewellyn Watkin is a former Welsh cricketer who played for Glamorgan County Cricket Club and the England cricket team. A reliable seam bowler who never suffered serious injury despite several lesser niggles,he played three Test matches in 1991 and 1993,and four One Day Internationals in 1993 and 1994. Malcolm Andrew Nash was a Welsh cricket player and coach. He played first-class cricket for Glamorgan. Nash was a left-arm medium-pace bowler and useful lower-order left-handed batsman. He made his debut for the county in 1966 and was released by the county after the 1983 season. He captained the county in 1980 and 1981. He took the most wickets for Glamorgan in 1969 when it won the county championship. In 1985,he played his last one-day match for Shropshire. Between 1966 and 1983 in his 17 years career,Nash took 993 first-class wickets,scored 7,129 runs and held 148 catches. He died on 30 July 2019 in London at the age of 74 years.

Thomas William Cartwright was an English cricketer. Playing largely for Somerset and Warwickshire,he took over 1,600 wickets as a medium-pace bowler,though he began his career as a top-order batsman,and was capable enough with the bat to score seven hundreds including a double-century. He played in five Tests for England in 1964 and 1965. His withdrawal from the 1968–69 tour to South Africa led to his replacement in the touring team by Basil D'Oliveira,whose inclusion precipitated the sporting isolation of South Africa until apartheid was abolished.
Donald John Shepherd was a Welsh cricketer,who played for Glamorgan. One of the great county bowlers,he took more first-class wickets –2,218 –than any other player who never played Test cricket.
Darren Ian Stevens is an English former professional cricketer who played for Leicestershire and Kent County Cricket Clubs between 1997 and 2022. An all-rounder,he played as right-handed batsman and bowled right-arm medium-pace deliveries. He scored over 16,000 first-class runs and after the age of 35 took more than 500 wickets and more than 30 five-wicket hauls. Stevens was named as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in the 2021 edition of the almanack.
Arnold Hamer was a first-class cricketer,who played for Yorkshire in 1938,and for Derbyshire between 1950 and 1960,scoring over 15,000 runs in first-class cricket. He also played as a footballer,playing eight games for York City in 1938.

Frank Henry Vigar was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Essex County Cricket Club between 1938 and 1954. A right-handed batsman,and leg break bowler,Vigar served as an all-rounder with 8,858 runs at 26.28 and 241 wickets at 37.90. From his rained-off debut in 1938,Vigar went on to play 257 matches for his county. His greatest success came in the "golden summer" of 1947,where he scored 1,735 runs and took 64 wickets. A partnership with Peter Smith of 218 for the final wicket remains an Essex record.
Richard Horsfall was an English cricketer,who played first-class cricket for Essex between 1947 and 1955,and then played for a single season for Glamorgan in 1956. He was a right-handed middle-order batsman.
Euros John Lewis was a Welsh cricketer. Lewis was a left-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. He was born at Llanelli,Carmarthenshire.
Peter Warlow Gatehouse is a former Welsh cricketer and pharmacist. Gatehouse was a left-arm fast-medium bowler and tail-end right-handed batsman who played for Glamorgan from 1957 to 1962. He was born at Caerphilly,Glamorgan.
