Kendji is the self-titled debut album by French singer Kendji Girac released on 8 September 2014 by Mercury Records. In France, it topped SNEP, the official French Albums Chart, and also became a hit in Belgium and Switzerland.
Two of the tracks, namely "Color Gitano" and "Bella" had earlier appeared on a five-track EP titled Kendji Girac EP released prior to the release of the album. The EP charted in June 2014 reaching number 44 on the SNEP French Albums Chart. The EP contained three more tracks that were not included in the album: "Toi et moi", "Ma philosophie" and "Tous les mêmes".

Cheese is the debut album by Belgian musician Stromae, released on 14 June 2010. The songs "Bienvenue chez moi", "House'llelujah", "Rail de Musique", "Peace or Violence", "Te Quiero" and "Silence" were released as album-promo-singles, only "Rail de Musique" and "Bienvenue Chez Moi" did not chart. It features three official singles including the hit "Alors on danse", "Te Quiero" and "House'llelujah".
Racine carrée is the second studio album by Belgian musician Stromae. It was released digitally on 16 August 2013 and three days later physically in France and Belgium. Stromae expressed his desire to incorporate Caribbean and African musical influences along with his signature 1990s-inspired dance beats. The album, recorded in an attic, explores themes as diverse as alienation from social networks, relationship issues, discrimination, cigarettes and lung cancer, AIDS and absent father figures. Prior to its official release and afterwards, Racine carrée received critical acclaim for its thoughtful lyrics and gained comparisons to fellow Belgian recording artist Jacques Brel.
Subliminal is the debut solo album by Congolese-French singer and rapper Maître Gims. The 18-track album was released 20 May 2013 on Wati B and Monstre Marin Corporation, the latter founded by Maître Gims himself. The lyrics were all by Maître Gims whereas the music was by Maître Gims, Renaud Rebillaud and Stan-E Music. The album was a great success charting in France, Belgium as well as charting in Switzerland.
