Kentaro Tsuruoka (born 26 August 1974) is a Japanese snowboarder. He competed in the men's parallel giant slalom event at the 2006 Winter Olympics. [1]

Another athlete, Lenira Santos, was selected to compete in athletics but was forced to pull out due to injury. Monteiro was selected as the flag bearer for both the opening and closing ceremonies.
