The Kerala State Film Award for Best Choreography is an award presented annually at the Kerala State Film Awards of India to the best dance choreographer in Malayalam film industry. It was introduced in 2005 onward. The awards are managed by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, an autonomous non-profit institution functioning under the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala. The winner receive a certificate, statuette and a cash prize of ₹50,000.

Anna Ben is an Indian actress who works in Malayalam cinema. The daughter of screenwriter Benny P. Nayarambalam, she made her acting debut with Kumbalangi Nights in 2019. Anna has since starred in the dramas Helen (2019) and Kappela (2020). For the former, she won the Kerala State Film Award – Special Mention and for the latter, she won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress.

Vasanthi is a Malayalam-language drama film written, edited and directed by Rahman brothers, Shinos & Sajas for producer, actor Siju Wilson. The film won the 2020 Kerala State Film Award for Best Film before releasing. The film premiered at the 2021 International Film Festival of Kerala.

The 51st Kerala State Film Awards, presented by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy were announced by the Minister for Cultural Affairs, Saji Cheriyan in Thiruvananthapuram on 16 October 2021. A total of 80 films competed for the awards.

Prasanna Sujit is an Indian dance choreographer who primarily works in South Indian cinemas. He has choreographed dance sequences for various south Indian films. He has won Kerala State Film Award for Best Choreography, three times.
