Anna Ben is an Indian actress who works in Malayalam cinema. The daughter of screenwriter Benny P. Nayarambalam, she made her acting debut with Kumbalangi Nights in 2019. Anna has since starred in the dramas Helen (2019) and Kappela (2020). For the former, she won the Kerala State Film Award – Special Mention and for the latter, she won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress.

Savithri Sreedharan is an Indian theatre and film actress. She has been a part of several Calicut-based theatre groups for over forty years and made her film debut in 2018 in the film Sudani from Nigeria which earned her a Special Mention at the 66th National Film Awards. Her other major films are Virus (2019) and Dakini (2018).

<i>Kenjira</i> 2021 film by Manu Warrier

Kenjira is a 2019 Indian film in the Paniya language, a language spoken by members of the Paniya tribe, a secluded tribe most of whose members are mainly found in the Wayanad District in Kerala State and the neighboring areas of Karnataka State. The film was directed by Manoj Kana. Kenjira and stars Vinusha Ravi as a girl belonging to the Paniya community. All other characters in the film are played by members of the tribal community. The film portrays the highly deplorable social conditions in which the Paniya community live: the humiliations, the exploitation and the helplessness.

Tony Babu is an Indian film sound designer, sound editor, sound mixer and mixing engineer. He has worked in various Indian language films and web series including Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam and Punjabi. He is a member of the Motion Picture Sound Editors. He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Sound Designer for The Great Indian Kitchen.

Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language, comedy-drama film written and directed by Senna Hegde. The film won the Best Feature Film in Malayalam at the 68th National Film Awards. It was also chosen as the Second Best Film and Senna Hegde received the award for Best Story at the 51st Kerala State Film Awards. The film was also selected for the 25th International Film Festival of Kerala under the "Malayalam Cinema Today" category. The film was produced by Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah under the banner of Pushkar Films.

The 52nd Kerala State Film Awards, presented by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy were announced by the Minister for Cultural Affairs, Saji Cheriyan in Thiruvananthapuram on 27 May 2022. A total of 142 films competed for the awards.
