Khais Millen is an Indian film writer and director active since 2018 in Malayalam cinema.

Biography

In 2014 Millen wrote and directed the short Lipstick [1] , a film about child sexual abuse. [2]

Aakashvani (2016) was his first full-length feature film as director, [3] [4] It starred Kavya Madhavan [5] in lead, a family drama which was commercially unsuccessful at the box office, and was later broadcast on Flowers TV. [6]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Millen directed a thriller film Thala , [7] [8] his second feature film, prized at the 52d Kerala State Film Awards. [9]

After Thala, his second screenplay was Adithattu , a seafaring film directed by Jijo Antony, starring Shine Tom Chacko and Sunny Wayne leads. [10] The film was awarded Second Best Film at the 53rd Kerala State Film Awards. [11]

His third film, Paradise Circus , [12] written and directed by him, was released in 2023. It is about life in the circus. [13]
