Khalilabad (Persian : خليل اباد‎, also Romanized as Khalīlābād)^[1] is a village in Narestan Rural District, Aqda District, Ardakan County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 165, in 54 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Narestan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Aqda District, Ardakan County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,526, in 481 families. The rural district has 15 villages.

Aqda District is a district (bakhsh) in Ardakan County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,578, in 1,387 families. The District has one city: Aqda. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Aqda Rural District and Narestan Rural District.
