Khomutovo (Russian : Хомутово) is the name of several inhabited localities in Russia.
Russian is an East Slavic language, which is official in the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as being widely used throughout Eastern Europe, the Baltic states, the Caucasus and Central Asia. It was the de facto language of the Soviet Union until its dissolution on 25 December 1991. Although nearly three decades have passed since the breakup of the Soviet Union, Russian is used in official capacity or in public life in all the post-Soviet nation-states, as well as in Israel and Mongolia.

Novoderevenkovsky District is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Oryol Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,024.9 square kilometers (395.7 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality of Khomutovo. Population: 10,704 ; 13,486 (2002 Census); 14,672 (1989 Census). The population of Khomutovo accounts for 39.5% of the district's total population.
Oryol Oblast is a federal subject of Russia. Its administrative center is the city of Oryol. Population: 786,935.

Irkutsky District is an administrative district, one of the thirty-three in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia. Municipally, it is incorporated as Irkutsky Municipal District. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 11,300 square kilometers (4,400 sq mi). Its administrative center is the city of Irkutsk. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 84,322.

Teykovsky District is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-one in Ivanovo Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,275 square kilometers (492 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Teykovo. Population: 12,232 (2010 Census); 14,418 ; 19,287 (1989 Census).

Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport, also called Khomutovo (Хомутово), is an airport in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, on the Russian island of Sakhalin. The airport was established in 1945 as a military airfield. With currently one 3,400 m concrete runway, one passenger terminal, two cargo terminals and 16 aircraft stands, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport is the largest airport in Sakhalin Oblast.
Sakhalin is Russia's largest island, lying in the North Pacific Ocean between 45°50' and 54°24' N. It is administered as part of Sakhalin Oblast. Sakhalin, which is about one third the size of Honshu, is just off the east coast of Russia, and just north of Japan. The island's population was 497,973 as of the 2010 census, made up of mostly ethnic Russians and a smaller Korean community. The indigenous peoples of the island are the Ainu, Oroks and Nivkhs.
