Kim Sung-woo is honorary poet and journalist of South Korea.
He was born in Yokjido ,Tongyeong,Gyeongsangnam-do,in 1934 and graduated from Seoul National University majoring in politics. He joined the Hankook Ilbo and served as a Paris correspondent,Managing editor and standing advisor. He is a journalist who has served in newspapers for 44 years.
He became the Korea's first Honorary Poets(Society of Korean Poets) for popularizing poetry recitation movements. He is also the Korea's only Honorary Actor(National Theater Association of Korea Inc.,). Currently,he is serving as a permanent executive director of JEI Culture Foundation. [1]

Notable tributaries include the Sincheon,which flows north through Daegu. The name Geumho-gang means "river of the zither-shaped lake," a reference to its oxbow curve in northern Daegu. Shin Seok-cho (1909–1975) was a Korean poet and journalist. He was born in Seocheon,Chungcheongnam-do,in 1909. Involved with socialism,he joined Korean Artist Proletarian Federation (KAPF) but subsequently withdrew. In 1935,he met Yi Yuk-sa and became a close acquaintance.
Honorary Poets are called 'Myung-ye Si-in' in Korea and are the honorary members of the Society of Korean Poets. Originally,the members of the Society of Korean Poets are subject to poets. Kim Yeonkyung is a Korean writer,Russian literature scholar,and translator. As a translator,she has been mostly translating Dostoevsky's works into Korean. She also teaches Russian literature in university.
Jung Hanmo (1923–1991) was a Korean poet. The primary subject matter of his poems was the bleak reality after the Korean War but he wrote poems representing his love for life and hope for the future. He taught Korean literature in universities for a long time,leaving many achievements as a scholar. When he was the Minister of Culture and Public Information in 1988,he decisively carried out the lifting of the ban on around 100 writers who had defected or had been kidnapped to North Korea.
Your Republic is Calling You is a Korean novel written by Kim Young-ha. Borrowing the title of RenéMagritte’s series of paintings,Empire of Light,Bichui jeguk is about a North Korean spy stationed in South Korea and the day he is summoned back to North Korea. The novel both overviews the societal changes that Korea went through from the 1980s to the 2000s and follows the fate of a man whose fate becomes wholly unknown to him. In 2016,Bichui jeguk was jointly adapted into a play by the National Theater of Korea and the Centre Dramatique National Orléans and performed in both South Korea and France.
