Kimsa Willk'i (Aymara kimsa three, willk'i gap [2] "three gaps", also spelled Quimsa Willkhi) is a 5,032-metre-high (16,509 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Inquisivi Province, in the south of the Quime Municipality. Kimsa Willk'i is situated south-east of the mountain Wisk'achani. The lakes Muyu Quta (Muyu Khota) and Wiska Quta (Wisca Khota) lie at its feet, north-west of it. [1] [3]

The river Quta K'uchu ("lake corner", Khotakhuchu) which later is called Tres Cruzes (Spanish for "three crosses") originates at the mountain. It flows to the south-west as a tributary of Río Monte Blanco (Spanish for "white mountain river"). [1]

It is the continuation of the Cordillera Real of Bolivia extending in a north to south-eastern direction from Asiento pass south of Illimani to Tres Cruces pass.

Janqu Quta (El Alto) lake in La Paz Department, Bolivia

Janq'u Quta is a lake in Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, El Alto Municipality. It is situated south of the mountain Wayna Potosí and north-east of Milluni Lake at a height of about 4,664 metres (15,302 ft). The little lake north-east of Janq'u Quta is named Pata Quta (Pata Khota).

Q'ara Quta is a lake on the western side of the Cordillera Real of Bolivia located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Comunidad Alto Peñas. It lies north-west of the Kunturiri massif, between the lakes Wichhu Quta (5 km) in the south-west and Khotia Quta and Janq'u Quta in the north-east. The lakes are connected by Jach'a Jawira, a river which originates near the mountain Wila Lluxita and flows down to Lake Titicaca. Q'ara Quta is situated at a height of about 4,400 metres (14,400 ft), about 5 km long and 0,65 km at its widest point.

Kimsa Chata is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,056 metres (16,588 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Kirani Canton. It is situated south-west of the mountains Wila Lluxi, Warawarani and Phaq'u Kiwuta, between the mountain Qala T'uxu in the north and the lake Q'ara Quta in the south.

It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Malla Municipality, at the border with the Inquisivi Province, Quime Municipality. Wisk'achani is situated south-east of the mountain Wallatani of the Kimsa Crus mountain range and Wallatani Lake. The lakes Muyu Quta (Muyu Khota) and Wiska Quta (Wisca Khota) lie at its feet, south-east of it.

Quta Willk'i is a 4,595-metre-high (15,075 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Guaqui Municipality. Quta Willk'i is situated north-west of the mountain Wanq'uni, north-east of Tanqa Tanqani and south-east of Qala Waxrani.

Wanquni (Bolivia)

Wanq'uni is a 4,599-metre-high (15,089 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, at the border of the Guaqui Municipality and the Jesús de Machaca Municipality. Wanq'uni is situated northeast of Tanka Tankani and southeast of Quta Willk'i.

Chhuxlla Willk'i is a 4,664-metre-high (15,302 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality. Chhuxlla Willk'i is situated south-east of the 4,737-metre-high (15,541 ft) mountain named Qala Cruz (Khala Cruz) and Ch'alla Qullu, and north-east of a 4,522-metre-high (14,836 ft) mountain which is also called Qala Cruz.

Achuma (Bolivia) mountain in Bolivia

Achuma is a mountain in the northern part of the Kimsa Cruz mountain range in the Bolivian Andes, about 4,960 metres (16,273 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Cairoma Municipality. The peaks of Achuma lie north-west to north of the mountain Taruja Umaña and south of Janq'u Willk'i. There are two small lakes north of the mountain. They are named Allqa Quta and Ch'iyar Quta.

It is situated in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Cairoma Municipality. Janq'u Willk'i lies north of the mountains Taruja Umaña and Achuma. There are two small lakes at the feet of Achuma and Janq'u Willk'i. They are named Allqa Quta and Ch'iyar Quta.

Warus Quta is a lake in the Kimsa Cruz mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Cairoma Municipality. Warus Quta lies between the mountains Taruja Umaña in the west and Mama Uqllu in the east. The river Taruj Umaña originates near the lake. It flows to the west and then to the north-west as an affluent of the La Paz River.

Chillwa Quta is a lake in the Kimsa Cruz mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Cairoma Municipality. Chillwa Quta lies south-west of the mountain Mama Uqllu, south of the lake Warus Quta and south-east of the mountain Taruja Umaña. This is where the river Taruj Umaña originates. It flows to the west and then to the north-west as an affluent of the La Paz River.

Watir Quta is a lake in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Inquisivi Province, Quime Municipality. The river Chaka Jawira which connects Watir Quta with the lakes south-east of it flows through the lake. Its waters run to the La Paz River.

Janqu Quta (Inquisivi)

Janq'u Quta is a 5,090-metre (16,699 ft) mountain in the Kimsa Cruz mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Inquisivi Province, Quime Municipality. Janq'u Quta lies south-east of the mountain Mama Uqllu.

Chiyar Quta (Loayza) mountain in Bolivia

Ch'iyar Quta is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 4,280 m (14,040 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Luribay Municipality. Ch'iyar Quta lies between the Ch'uñu Uma River in the north and the Ch'uñu Uma Jawira in the south which both originate southeast of the mountain. They flow to the Luribay River.

Quta Kuchu mountain in Bolivia

Quta K'uchu is a mountain in the La Paz Department in the Andes of Bolivia which reaches a height of approximately 4,820 m (15,810 ft). It is located in the Loayza Province, in the southeast of the Malla Municipality. Quta K'uchu lies southwest of Kimsa Willk'i.

Iru Willki

Iru Willk'i is a 4,063-metre-high (13,330 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, San Pedro de Totora Province. It lies at the Q'ara Quta River.
