Kingston Falls were an American Christian hardcore band, and they primarily played hardcore punk and metalcore. They were from Goshen, Indiana, where they formed in 2003 and disbanded in 2009. The primary members of the band were John Busenbark (vocals), Brent Zebell (Drums), Josiah Gaut (Guitar), Josh Battles (Guitar), and Jason Gough (Bass). They released three independently made extended plays; Seasons of Despair (2003), Kingston Falls (2004), and Crusader (2005). Their first studio album, The Crescendo of Sirens, was released by Strike First Records, in 2006. The subsequent and last studio album, Armada on Mercury, was released by Facedown Records, in 2008.

Background

Kingston Falls was a Christian hardcore and Christian metal band that hailed from Goshen, Indiana. [1] From conception through "The Crescendo of Sirens" album, the members were John Busenbark (vocals), Brent Zebell (drums), Josh Battles (guitar), Josiah Gaut (guitar), and Jason Gough (bass, Beyond the Fathoms). Following the release of "The Crescendo of Sirens" in 2006, the band experienced some turnover and volatility in its membership, cycling all contributors except Brent and Josiah by the time the band disbanded. Music history

The band commenced as a musical entity in 2003,. [2] They released three albums independently before signing with Facedown imprint Strike First Records. These first three albums were "Seasons of Despair" (2003), Kingston Falls (2004) and, Crusader (2005). [2] Their first studio album, The Crescendo of Sirens, was released by Strike First Records, on April 4, 2006. [4] The subsequent studio album, Armada on Mercury, was released by Facedown Records, on March 18, 2008. [5] [6] [7]

Hands was an American Christian metal band from Fargo, North Dakota, United States. The band started making music in 2003, and disbanded in 2011. Their membership was vocalist, John Ellis, guitarists, Duke Ahrens, Matt Aviles, and Harbor Partin, bass guitarist, Kyle Bowen, and drummer, Mike Aviles. The band released one independently made extended play, Call to Preserve, in 2003. Their first studio album, Unsinkable, was released by Strike First Records, in 2006. The subsequent studio album, From Isolation, was released by Facedown Records, in 2008. They released, Life of Defiance, with Facedown Records, in 2010, and this was final studio album. Their last release, an extended play, Validation, was released by Facedown Records, in 2011, marking this as their final musical recording.

Inked in Blood was an American Christian metalcore and melodic hardcore group. They come from Portland, Oregon. The band started making music in 2001 and disbanded in 2007. Their first show was December 2001 in Portland, OR with Knives Out. The band released two demos, one extended play, Awakening Vesuvius, in 2004. Their first studio album, Lay Waste the Poets, was released by Facedown Records, in 2005. The subsequent studio album, Sometimes We Are Beautiful, was released by Facedown Records, in 2007, as their final recording.

Bloodlined Calligraphy is an American Christian metal band, and they primarily play metalcore. They come from Ypsilanti, Michigan. The band started making music in 1999. Their membership was Matt Carter, Ally French, Ryan Hampton, and Eric Cargile. The band released, Say Hi to the Bad Guy, an album, with Selah Records, in 2002. The group became part of Strike First Records, where they released, The Beginning of the End, an extended play, in 2004. They signed to Facedown Records, where they released, They Want You Silent, another studio album, in 2004. Their subsequent studio album, Ypsilanti, was released by Facedown Records, in 2006. The band played their last show on April 19, 2014. The band reunited in 2017 for Facedown Fest 2017.

Seventh Star is an American Christian hardcore and Christian metal band, and they primarily play hardcore punk and metalcore. They come from Ocala, Florida. The band started making music, in 1998, founded by Mike Whitaker, Jai Leacock and Shawn Douglas and disbanded, in 2008, while their members were Shawn Douglas, Johnny Intravaia, Drew Russ, and Chase Moore,. They released four albums, the first being "Lifeblood" which was mainly DIY, followed by three with Facedown Records, Dead End in 2003, Brood of Vipers in 2005, and The Undisputed Truth in 2007. The band, as of 2015, reunited for some concerts, one with the support of Gideon, Bishop, and Culture Killer. The band also played Facedown Fest in 2016.

Rival Choir, formerly known as Mouth of the South, was an American Christian post-hardcore and metalcore band from Denton, Texas formed in 2007. The band signed with Facedown Records in January 2014. Struggle Well was the band's last album under the name Mouth of the South. After announcing their change from Mouth of the South to Rival Choir, their new album—I Believe, Help My Unbelief—was released on February 5, 2016, also by Facedown Records. On November 18, the band released the debut single from the new album, entitled "Aftermath".
