Kiran Ghai (born 23 August 1949) [1] [2] is a national vice president of the Bharatiya Janata Party. [3] She is an MLC in Bihar state in India, and Chairperson of Child Protection and Women empowerment committee of Bihar Legislative Council. [4]
Earlier she was the national secretary of BJP. She is also a reader in the department of Hindi Patna Women's College, a constituent unit of Patna University, Patna.[ citation needed ] She has been a jury member for the 48th and 50th Indian Nation Film Awards, in the categories of feature and non-feature films. She has been a local board member (Eastern Zone, Reserve Bank of India). Mrs. Kiran Ghai is also a poet and a playwright. She is resident of Mainpuri, Patna.[ citation needed ]

Shatrughan Prasad Sinha is an Indian actor and politician. He is a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Asansol constituency as a member of All India Trinamool Congress (TMC). Earlier he was elected as Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Patna Sahib. He was also a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha during 1996–2002 and 2002–2008. He was a Union Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Shipping in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. He was a member of standing committee on transport, tourism and culture and member of consultative committee in ministry of external affairs and overseas Indian affairs from 2014 to 2019. Shri Krishna Singh (Sinha) (21 October 1887 – 31 January 1961), also known as Shri Babu, was the first chief minister of the Indian state of Bihar (1946–61). Except for the period of World War II, Sinha was the chief minister of Bihar from the time of the first Congress Ministry in 1937 until his death in 1961. Along with the Desh Ratna Rajendra Prasad and Bihar Vibhuti Anugrah Narayan Sinha (A.N. Sinha), Sinha is regarded among the 'Architects of Modern Bihar'. He also led the Dalit entry into the Baidyanath Dham temple (Vaidyanath Temple, Deoghar), which reflected his commitment towards the upliftment and social empowerment of the Dalits. He was the first chief minister in the country to abolish the zamindari system. He underwent different terms of imprisonment for a total of about eight years in British India. Sinha's mass meetings brought hordes of people to hear him. He was known as Bihar Kesari for his lionlike roars when he rose to address the masses. His close friend and eminent Gandhian Bihar Vibhuti A.N. Sinha in his essay Mere Shri Babu wrote that, "Since 1921, the History of Bihar has been the history of the life of Shri Babu".
Sushil Kumar Modi is an Indian politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party who is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from Bihar. He is a former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar as well as the Finance Minister of Bihar from 2005 to 2013 and 2017 to 2020. He is a lifelong member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He was appointed the Chairman of the Empowered Committee of State Finance Ministers for the Implementation of Goods and Service Tax in July 2011.
Nand Kishore Yadav is an Indian politician, former cabinet minister for road construction and health in the Government of Bihar. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He is a senior BJP leader who joined, as minister, the Bihar Government after the split of the Mahagathbandhan and parting of ways between Lalu's RJD and Nitish Kumar's JDU in June 2013. Ram Kripal Yadav is an Indian politician and a member of the 17th Lok Sabha from the Pataliputra parliamentary constituency in Bihar. He was a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal and was a close confidant of Lalu Yadav. Later he joined Bharatiya Janata Party. He was first a mayor in Bihar, and later the Minister of State for Rural Development in central cabinet in Delhi from 2014 to 2019.

Ganga Prasad Chaurasia is an Indian politician who is currently governor of the state of Sikkim and former governor of Meghalaya. He was a member of Bihar Legislative Council and was the leader of the opposition during the RJD regime. He also held the post of leader of the Bihar legislative council during the NDA rule in Bihar. He got associated with Jan Sangh and remained associated with the same ideology till date.
