Kirkman Finlay III (born February 16, 1970) is an American politician. He is a former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 75th District, serving since 2012. He is a member of the Republican Party. [1] In the 2022 general election he was defeated by Democrat Heather Bauer. [2]

His father, Kirkman Finlay Jr., was mayor of Columbia, South Carolina from 1978 to 1986.

In 2016, he became a CNN political analyst, supporting the presidential campaign of Donald Trump. CNN dismissed Bauer in February 2019.

Heather Bauer is an American politician of the Democratic Party. She is the member of the South Carolina House of Representatives representing District 75. In the 2022 general election for South Carolina House of Representatives District 75, Bauer defeated Republican Kirkman Finlay III, who had been a member of the South Carolina House since 2012. Bauer was outraised by Finlay, but prevailed due to public concern about women's reproductive rights.
