Kolos Stadium is a multifunctional facility, primarily used for football and field hockey located in Boryspil, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine. Currently the Ukrainian Premier League football club Arsenal Kyiv plays their home games at the stadium. [1]
The stadium was initially constructed after the Second World War and had a capacity for 7,500 spectators. In 1997 the facility was reconstructed and modernized with individual seating as well change rooms, a special medical room and massage facilities and new parking arena. [2]
The capacity was reduced to 5,654 with approximately 2,000 covered seats.
The hockey facility has a separate arena which is uses a synthetic turf and a small covered stadium with a capacity for 1,500 spectators.
From the start of the Ukrainian Premier League 2009–10 season Arsenal Kyiv plays their home games at the stadium. Borysfen Boryspil also used the stadium as their home ground until the club folded in 2007. Other clubs to have used this facility include: Knyazha Schaslyve, CSCA Kyiv and their reserve team, FC Dynamo-2 Kyiv, FC Dynamo-3 Kyiv. The stadium also hosted playoff games for promotion to the Ukrainian First League 1998-99 between Prykarpattia Ivano-Frankivsk and Cherkasy as well as women's, youth and junior internationals. [3] The record attendance for a game is 6,500 when Borysfen Boryspil hosted Dynamo Kyiv on April 9, 2005.
Football Club Arsenal Kyiv is a Ukrainian football club based in Kyiv. In 2019 the club's professional team was dissolved, but its junior teams continue to compete in city competitions. The club claims to be a successor of Kyiv Arsenal factory team which traces its history back to 1925. The original factory team used to compete in the Soviet Class B, but was relegated in 1964 and its teams of masters was officially dissolved.
The Ukrainian Premier League or UPL is the highest division of Ukrainian annual football championship. As the Vyshcha Liha it was formed in 1991 as part of the 1992 Ukrainian football championship upon discontinuation of the 1991 Soviet football championship and included the Ukraine-based clubs that competed previously in the Soviet top three tiers competitions as well as better clubs of the Ukrainian republican competitions. The initial season of the league featured six former Soviet Top League clubs among which were Dynamo, Shakhtar, Chornomorets, Dnipro, Metalist, Metalurh as well as four more clubs that previously also competed at the top league.
Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Aliyev ; is a Ukrainian former professional footballer of Russian origin. He plays as a right midfielder or central midfielder. Known for his spectacular goals from direct free-kicks, his former Dynamo Kyiv coach Yuri Syomin described him as "...the best free-kick taker in Europe". He also was known for being the youngest Dynamo player who debuted in 2002 at professional level when Aliyev was 17 years and 6 months old.

The 2003–04 Vyshcha Liha season was the 13th since its establishment. The season began on 12 July 2003 with seven games of the first season round. FC Dynamo Kyiv were the defending champions, having won their 11th league title in the 2002–03 season and they successfully defended their title by winning the championship in the last round of the competition.
The Ukrainian Second League is a professional football league in Ukraine which is part of the Professional Football League of Ukraine, a collective member of the Ukrainian Association of Football. As the third tier it was established in 1992 as the Transitional League and changed its name the next season.

FC Borysfen Boryspil is a formerly professional Ukrainian football club from Boryspil, Ukraine. The club was created as a phoenix club in 1997 by Ihor Kovalevych after disagreement in FC CSKA Kyiv. The history of the club is controversial and its admission to professional competitions is dubious. In mid 1990s the original team of Zlobenko reached some agreement with the Central Sports Club of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after which there was established a joint team "CSKA-Borysfen" that became the first successful debutant of the Ukrainian Vyshcha Liha finishing among top 5 at the end of season. Following that season the newly created Professional Football League for unknown reason decided to dissolve the joint venture and recognize ownership of the club after company "Kyiv-Donbass" that was associated with the Ministry of Defense.

Ruslan Mykhaylovych Bidnenko is a retired professional Ukrainian footballer who currently plays for Uzbek League side FK Dinamo Samarqand. He has played once for the Ukraine national football team. He mainly plays as a midfielder.

From 1 November 2015 to 26 March 2016 the competition was on winter break. The competition resumed with Round 16 and completed on 1 June 2016.
The 2004–05 season is FC Metalist Kharkiv's 60th season in existence and the club's 1st season after return to the top flight of Ukrainian football. In addition to the domestic league, Metalist Kharkiv participated in that season's edition of the Ukrainian Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2004 to 30 June 2005.
