Konow (Persian : كنو‎)^[1] is a village in Sarvestan Rural District, in the Central District of Sarvestan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 409, in 91 households.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Sarvestan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Sarvestan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,571, in 582 families. The rural district has 14 villages.

The Central District of Sarvestan County is a district (bakhsh) in Sarvestan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 23,728, in 5,680 families. The District has one city: Sarvestan. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Sarvestan Rural District and Shurjeh Rural District.
