Kornel Witkowski (born 3 January 2002) is a Polish figure skater. He is the 2021 Polish national champion and qualified to the final segment at the 2022 European Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.
His brothers, Miłosz and Wiktor Witkowski are also active figure skaters. [1] [2]

The World Figure Skating Championships, commonly referred to as "Worlds", are an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Generally held in March, the World Championships are considered to be the most prestigious of the ISU Figure Skating Championships. With the exception of the Olympic title, a world title is considered to be the highest competitive achievement in figure skating.
The European Figure Skating Championships are an annual figure skating competition in which figure skaters compete for the title of European champion. Medals are awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The event is sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) and is the sport's oldest competition. The first European Championships were held in 1891 in Hamburg, Germany, and featured one segment, compulsory figures, with seven competitors. They have been held continuously since 1891, with only five interruptions, and have been sanctioned by the ISU since 1893. Women were allowed to compete for the first time in 1930, which is also the first time pair skating was added to the competition. Ice dance was added in 1954. Only eligible skaters from ISU member countries in Europe are allowed to compete.
Madison Hubbell is an American former ice dancer. She competed with Zachary Donohue from 2011 to 2022. With him, she is a two-time 2022 Winter Olympics medalist, a four-time World medalist, the 2018 Grand Prix Final champion, the 2014 Four Continents champion, and a three-time U.S. national champion.
The Lithuanian Figure Skating Championships are held annually to crown the national champions of Lithuania. Skaters compete in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance at the senior, junior, and novice levels, although not every discipline is held every year due to a lack of participants. Natalia Kaliszek is a retired Polish ice dancer. With her skating partner, Maksym Spodyriev, she has won medals on the ISU Challenger Series, including gold at the 2017 CS Tallinn Trophy, and eight Polish national titles. They have represented Poland at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics, as well as the European and World championships. At the junior level, they placed in the top ten at the 2015 Junior Worlds.

The competitions' results were among the criteria used to determine the teams to the World Championships, World Junior Championships, European Championships, and Winter Olympics, although Belarusian athletes have been banned from these events since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Oleksandra Yevhenivna Nazarova is a Ukrainian retired ice dancer. With her skating partner, Maksym Nikitin, she is the 2015 World Junior bronze medalist and 2012 Youth Olympic silver medalist. On the senior level, they are the 2017 Winter Universiade champions, 2014 CS Warsaw Cup silver medalists, 2016 Cup of Nice bronze medalists, six-time Ukrainian national champions. Nazorova/Nikitin have represented Ukraine at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics.
Maksym Kostiantynovych Nikitin is a Ukrainian retired ice dancer. With his skating partner, Oleksandra Nazarova, he is the 2015 World Junior bronze medalist and 2012 Youth Olympic silver medalist. On the senior level, they are the 2017 Winter Universiade champions, 2014 CS Warsaw Cup silver medalists, 2016 Cup of Nice bronze medalists, and six-time Ukrainian national champions. Nazorova/Nikitin have represented Ukraine at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics.
Timothy LeDuc is a retired American pair skater. With their skating partner, Ashley Cain, they are a two-time U.S. national champion, the 2018 Four Continents silver medalist, and a two-time Grand Prix medalist. They are the first openly gay skater to win the pairs title at the U.S. Championships and the first openly non-binary athlete to qualify for the Winter Olympics.
Mariah Cheyenne Bell is an American former competitive figure skater. She is the 2022 U.S. national champion, 2020 U.S. national silver medalist, and two-time U.S. national bronze medalist. She is also the 2020 Skate America gold medalist, 2016 Skate America silver medalist, the 2019 Internationaux de France bronze medalist, the 2019 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist, the 2019 CS Nebelhorn Trophy champion, and the 2016 CS U.S. International Classic silver medalist.
Maksym Spodyriev is a retired Polish ice dancer. With his skating partner, Natalia Kaliszek, he has won medals on the ISU Challenger Series, including gold at the 2017 CS Tallinn Trophy, and eight Polish national titles. They have represented Poland at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics, as well as the European and World championships. At the junior level, they placed in the top ten at the 2015 Junior Worlds.
Aleksandr Korovin is a Russian-Filipino pair skater. Korovin has represented the Philippines with Isabella Gamez since 2021, having represented Russia prior.
Ioulia Chtchetinina is a Russian-Swiss pair skater who currently competes for Poland with Michał Woźniak. Together, they are the 2025 Four National champions, the 2024 Four National silver medalists, two-time Polish national champions (2024–25), and the 2024 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb champions.
Conrad Orzel is a retired Canadian figure skater and model. He is the 2019 Bavarian Open silver medalist and 2023 Canadian national silver medalist. Earlier in his career, he won two medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series and placed 13th at the 2017 and 2018 World Junior Championships.
Vladimir Sergeevich Samoilov is a Russian-born figure skater who currently represents Poland. He is the 2022 Bavarian Open champion, the 2022 Volvo Open Cup champion, and a four-time Polish national champion (2022-25).
Ekaterina Andreevna Kurakova, nicknamed Katia, is a Russian-Polish figure skater who currently competes for Poland. She is a three-time Warsaw Cup champion, the 2019 Mentor Toruń Cup champion, a six-time Four Nationals champion (2019–2024), and a seven-time Polish national champion (2019–2025).
Artem Andriyovych Darenskyi is a Ukrainian pair skater who currently competes with Sofiia Holichenko. With Holichenko, he is a three-time Ukrainian national senior champion (2022-24) and the 2023 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb bronze medalist. With his former skating partner, Sofiia Nesterova, he is a two-time Ukrainian national senior champion. The pair has competed in the final segment at two World Junior Championships, finishing within the top eight at the 2019 edition.
The 2020 World Figure Skating Championships were scheduled to be held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from March 16 to March 22, 2020. Figure skaters would have competed for the title of world champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. This would have been the first time that Montreal hosted the World Figure Skating Championships since 1932. The competition was supposed to determine the entry quotas for each federation at the 2021 World Championships.
The 2022 World Figure Skating Championships were held in Montpellier, France, from March 21–27, 2022. Figure skaters competed for the title of world champion in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The competition was used to determine the entry quotas for each federation at the 2023 World Championships.
