Krishna Sankar is an Indian actor who appears in Malayalam films. His notable films include Neram (2013), Premam (2015), Marubhoomiyile Aana (2016) and Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela (2017). [1]

Career

Krishna Sankar started his career as an actor through the 2013 comedy-thriller film Neram directed by his friend Alphonse Puthren. He portrayed the character Manikunju in the film. He became popular to Kerala audiences for the 2015 film Premam through the character Koya. [2] Marubhoomiyile Aana released in 2016 was also popular. He acted in the lead alongside Samskruthy Shenoy in the comedy film directed by V K Prakash. [3] Shankar played an important role in Allu Ramendran and portrays the lead role in Kochaal. He will be producing his next film under his banner SVK Productions titled Kudukku 2025 and will be playing the lead role alongside Durga Krishna. [4] [5]

Produced by Anwar Rasheed, it features Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi in the prominent roles. The movie marks Pallavi's debut as the lead, after appearing as a junior artist, and also features an ensemble supporting cast including Madonna Sebastian, Anupama Parameswaran, Shabareesh Varma, Krishna Sankar, Siju Wilson, Ananth Nag, Vinay Forrt, Soubin Shahir, Sharafudheen and others. Premam (transl. Love) is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language coming-of-age romantic drama film co-written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti. It is a remake of the 2015 Malayalam film of the same name, and features Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan, portraying the respective roles played by Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi in the original, whilst Madonna Sebastian and Anupama Parameswaran reprise their roles from the original. Venkatesh and Nagarjuna appear in guest roles. The plot shows Vikram and his friends' life from teenage to adulthood.
