Gujarat is a state along the western coast of India. Its coastline of about 1,600 km (990 mi) is the longest in the country,most of which lies on the Kathiawar peninsula. Kochrab Ashram,also known as Satyagraha Ashram,is a historic site and museum in Ahmedabad,Gujarat,India. The ashram was the founded in May 1915 by Mahatma Gandhi,leader of the Indian independence movement. For the next two years he lived in the ashram with several other members of the movement. Some of his Gandhian ideas were conceived during that time. In 1953 the Bombay State named the ashram a memorial and tendered it to the Gujarat Vidyapith a year later. Its renovation and redevelopment into a museum were completed in 2024.

A week after the government nominated him chairman of state-owned Bank of Baroda where he served till 29 February 2024,he was appointed as the Chancellor of Central University of Gujarat. Also,he serves as Chief Advisor to Gujarat Chief Minister in CMO from 2022 onwards.

Kamlesh Patel was an Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Patel was a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly from 1990 to 2002 from the Maninagar constituency in Eastern side of the city Ahmedabad. He vacated his seat for Narendra Modi who resigned from the seat to become Chief Minister of Gujarat. He was later the Chairman of Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited. Patel died on 17 October 2024.

Before joining politics,Sharma was an IAS officer from Gujarat Cadre of the 1988 batch. Sharma was an aide of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi,with whom he had worked for 20 years. He was also CEO,Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board and has also managed multiple Vibrant Gujarat summits. He joined the Prime Minister's Office as a Joint Secretary in 2014 and was elevated to the Additional Secretary rank in 2017. In 2019,he moved out of the PMO to become a secretary in the Ministry of Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises but took voluntary retirement in January 2021.
