Kuyili is an Indian actress and dancer who has acted and performed in multiple South Indian films. [1] She also acted in many TV serials. She is famous for the song "Nila Athu Vaanathu Mela" in Kamal Haasan's Nayakan (1987), in which she performed an item number, balancing on a moving boat.[ citation needed ]

Arunthathiyar is a scheduled caste community mostly found in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The term has two distinct usages: for the purposes of the state government's positive discrimination program, in 2009 it was designated an umbrella term for the Arunthatiyar, Chakkiliyar (Sakkiliyar), Madari, Madiga, Pagadai, Thoti and Adi Andhra communities with a total population of 2,150,285, accounting for 14.89% of the Scheduled Caste population according to the 2011 Census of India. While the Office of the Registrar-General, which administers the census of India, does not recognize all of those communities as one.
Rashin Rahman commonly known by his Surname Rahman is an Indian actor. He has worked in around 200 films, primarily in Malayalam cinema, in addition to Tamil, Hindi and Telugu cinema, and has won several awards. In Tamil and Telugu cinema, he is also known by the screen names Raghuman and Raghu.

"Veeramangai" Rani Velu Nachiyar was a queen of Sivaganga estate from c. 1780–1790. She was the first Indian queen to wage war with the East India Company in India. It revolves around a politician who builds his career through unethical means, while his son, an honest law enforcer, seeks to take him down.
Poovilangu is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Ameerjan, starring Mohan, Murali and Kuyili, the latter in her acting debut. It was released on 23 March 1984. The film is a remake of the Kannada film Prema Parva (1983). This film is the acting debut of Mohan who was then referred with the stage name 'Poovilangu' Mohan in the later phase.
Gowravargal (transl. Honors) is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Sanjay Ram and produced by Ma. Paramasivam. The film stars Sathyaraj, Vignesh, and Monica, while Ranjith and Kuyili play supporting roles. The music was composed by Dhina. The film was released to poor reviews and poor collections on 15 October 2010.
Pudhea Paadhai is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by R. Parthiban in his directorial debut. The film stars Parthiban as an inhumane ruffian who gets reformed by his rape victim (Seetha), while V. K. Ramasamy, Manorama, Nassar, Sridhar, Kuyili and Sathyapriya appear in supporting roles.
Adhisaya Manithan is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language science fiction slasher film directed by Velu Prabhakaran. It is a sequel to Naalai Manithan (1989). The film stars Gautami, Ajay Rathnam, Anand, Kuyili, Kovai Sarala and Silk Smitha. It was released on 6 July 1990.
Rajanadai is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar. The film stars Vijayakanth, Gautami, Vidhyashree and Seetha. It was released on 28 October 1989. The film was later remade in Hindi by Chandrasekhar as Jeevan Ki Shatranj (1993) and in Bengali Bangladesh as Baba in (2003).
Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language political thriller film co-produced, written and directed by S. P. Jananathan, which stars Arya, Shaam, Vijay Sethupathi, and Karthika. Also produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the film features cinematography by N. K. Ekambaram and a score by Srikanth Deva, while the soundtrack was composed by newcomer Varshan. The film, which was earlier titled Purampokku, a term used for a piece of land that is common to all, revolves around the relevance of capital punishment in a democratic and free society. The film released on 15 May 2015 to mixed reviews. It also marked Karthika's last performance before her retirement from films.

Veeramangai Kuyili was an army commander of queen Velu Nachiyar who participated in campaigns against the East India Company in the 18th century. She is considered the first suicide bomber and "first woman martyr" in Indian history.
Donga Ramudu is a 1988 Telugu-language action film, produced Chalasani Gopi by under the Gopi Art Pictures banner and directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Radha and music composed by Chakravarthy.
Soorakottai Singakutti is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language masala film, directed by Rama Narayanan for AVM Productions. The film stars Prabhu and Silk Smitha, with Vijayakumari, V. K. Ramaswami, Prameela and Gemini Ganesan in supporting roles. It was released on 9 September 1983.
Megala is a 2007-2010 Indian Tamil-language soap opera that aired on Sun TV from 4 June 2007 to 25 April 2008 Monday through Friday at 19:30 (IST) and from 28 April 2008 to 23 April 2010 at 18:00 (IST). It ran for 729 episodes. It had been receiving the highest ratings of Tamil serials and received high praising from viewers. The show starred Gayathiri, Deepan Chakravarthy Yugendran, Vadivukkarasi, Kuyili, Shreekumar, Rajkanth and Bhavana. The show was produced by Metti Oli serial fame Cine Times Entertainment Siddhiq and directed by Vikramathithan. It replaced Anjali. It was also aired in Sri Lanka Tamil Channel on Shakthi TV.
Sengathu (transl. Red) is a 2006 Indian Tamil language romantic drama film directed by Indhu Nathan. The film stars newcomer Amaran and Payal, with Ilavarasu, Kovai Desingu, Kuyili, Srinivasa Gurukkal, Lalitha Mani and Master Ashwin playing supporting roles. The film, produced by S. A. Jalavudhin, was released on 6 October 2006. The film got a subsidy from the Government of Tamil Nadu for making a quality budget Tamil film and for releasing it under a Tamil title.
Thiru Ranga is a 2007 Indian masala film directed by Ravi Bhargavan. The film was produced by A. Selvi and Ch. Sathyanarayana in Tamil and in Telugu, the latter as Julayi. The film stars Santhosh and Ankitha, with Tejashree, Nassar, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Cochin Haneefa and Manivannan playing supporting roles. The Tamil version was released on 11 May 2007 while the Telugu version was released on 31 August 2007.
