Kwong Wui Chun (born c. 1955) is a Hong Kong aluminum businessman. He is the chairman and founder of Asia Aluminum Group, and chairman of the Guangdong Nanhai Non-ferrous Metals Association. [1] He was born in Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong, and moved to Hong Kong in the 1960s or 1970s. [2] [3] In 1981 he began buying scrap aluminum in the United States, Japan, and the Middle East, and importing it for resale in Hong Kong and for further processing in Guangzhou. He founded the Asia Aluminum Group in 1992, and shepherded the company through its listing on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in 1998. In 2003 he was reported to be the 148th-richest person in China. Located on 25 Waterloo Road, Kwong Wah Hospital is the main district general hospital was founded by the Tung Wah Group in 1911, and managed by the Hospital Authority since 1991. It provides a full range of medical services to the population of West Kowloon and Wong Tai Sin. It is Kowloon Central Cluster's major acute teaching hospital, and also a Neurosurgical and Antenatal Diagnosis referral centre. The Hospital has established various clinical centers, including Lai Kwok Wing Urology Centre, Minimally Invasive Surgery Training Centre and Chan Feng Men Ling Cardiac Centre. The hospital has participated through joint consultation for designated diseases under protocols which developed by both Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine practitioners.

Heshan has since been added to this historic region and the prefecture-level city of Jiangmen administers all five of these county-level cities, which are sometimes informally called Ng Yap. The ancestors of Taishanese people are said to have arrived from central China under a thousand years ago and migrated into Guangdong during the Tang Dynasty. Taishanese, as a dialect of Yue Chinese, has linguistically preserved many characteristics of Middle Chinese.
