The national flag of Luxembourg consists of three horizontal stripes, red, white and light blue, and can be in 1:2 or 3:5 ratio. It was first used between 1845 and 1848 and officially adopted in 1993. It is informally called in the country, «rout, wäiß, blo».
The Stade Josy Barthel is the former national stadium of Luxembourg, and the former home of the Luxembourg national football team. The stadium, which also hosted rugby union and athletics events, is located on route d'Arlon, in the Luxembourg City quarter of Belair. Following the opening of the Stade de Luxembourg in September 2021, the stadium and its grounds are currently due for demolition and redevelopment.

Ernest Mühlen was a Luxembourgish politician for the Christian Social People's Party, economist and financial journalist. He won a place on Luxembourg City's communal council in 1973. He was a government minister under Pierre Werner, in the early 1980s, before sitting in the European Parliament as one of Luxembourg's six MEPs from 1984 until 1989. Mühlen followed this by sitting in the Chamber of Deputies (1989–1991), and by representing Luxembourg at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (1991–1996).

Clemency Castle is located in the little town of Clemency which is close to the Belgian border in south-eastern Luxembourg. The small residential castle adjacent to the church was built in the 1660s in the Renaissance style. It had fallen into disrepair but was fully renovated in 2009 and is occasionally open to the public.
Early general elections were held in Luxembourg on 20 October 2013. The elections were called after Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker, at the time the longest-serving head of government in the European Union, announced his resignation over a spy scandal involving the Service de Renseignement de l'État (SREL). Lucien Didier is a former Luxembourgian cyclist. He competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics and the 1976 Summer Olympics. He rode in ten Grand Tours between 1978 and 1984, including six Tours de France. In each of his Tour starts he completed the race and helped his team leader to overall victory - Bernard Hinault four times and Laurent Fignon twice. He was the son-in law of racing cyclist Bim Diederich and is the father of racing cyclist Laurent Didier.

Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg railway station is a rail station on CFL Line 10, in the north of Luxembourg City which opened in December 2017. It is located on Rue Saint-Mathieu in the Pfaffenthal valley, below the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge, overlooking the Alzette River. The Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois (CFL), the state-owned rail company, operates both it and the accompanying funicular line, which links the station to tram services on the Kirchberg plateau.
