La'Tangela Chiquita Atkinson (born March 22, 1984) is an American professional women's basketball player in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
Atkinson played for Lee Central High School in Bishopville, South Carolina, where she was named a WBCA All-American. [1] She participated in the 2002 WBCA High School All-America Game where she scored eight points. [2]
Atkinson attended college at the University of North Carolina and graduated in 2006.

Following her collegiate career, she was selected as the ninth overall pick in the 2006 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever.
On March 23, 2007, she was traded to the Sacramento Monarchs in exchange for the Monarchs' second round pick in the 2008 WNBA Draft.

Lawson primarily played as a shooting guard. She won a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. Lawson retired from the WNBA in 2015 to focus on her broadcasting career.

She last played as a center for the Seattle Storm of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She is best known for her accomplishments during her college career at the University of Oklahoma, where she holds career averages of 21.4 points and 15.3 rebounds per game. She holds the NCAA record for most consecutive double-doubles at 112. During her senior season in 2009, Paris received considerable media attention when she announced that she would pay back her tuition to the University of Oklahoma if the Sooners did not win the 2009 NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Tournament. She would lead Oklahoma to the Final Four before falling short to eventual national runner-up Louisville. Paris was selected with the number seven overall pick by the now-defunct Sacramento Monarchs in the 2009 WNBA Draft.

Chelsea Newton is an American women's college basketball coach, currently as assistant and recruiting coordinator at the University of Georgia. Was an assistant coach at Rutgers University from 2010 to 2015. In 2006–07, Newton served as Director of Player Development for Rutgers’ National Runner-Up team. As a player, drafted in 2005 by the WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs in the 2nd round overall pick 22. A member of the 2005 World Champions Sacramento Monarchs. Also a member of the 2005 All-Rookie Team. In 2007, Newton was chosen to the WNBA's 2nd Team All- Defense. After Sacramento folded, she signed with the Seattle Storm, but later retired before even playing a game with them.
