La Dolce Vita (Hangul : 달콤한 인생; RR : Dalkomhan Insaeng; lit. "The Sweet Life") is a 2008 South Korean television series that aired on MBC. [1] A dark melodrama with a fragmented narrative and voice-overs highlighting the characters' state of mind, it was hailed as a daring portrayal of middle-aged romance and adultery with elements of mystery and noir. Lee Dong-wook is a South Korean actor and model. He is best known for his leading roles in the television dramas My Girl (2005), Scent of a Woman (2011), Hotel King (2014), Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016–2017), Life (2018) and Touch Your Heart (2019).
Park Si-yeon is a South Korean actress. She joined the Miss Korea pageant in 2000, and using that as a springboard to an acting career, she made her acting debut in China in 2004, appearing in minor roles in several CCTV dramas. In 2005 Park was cast in her first starring role in the Korean drama My Girl, though at the time she was more known for dating actor-singer Eric Mun. As she built her filmography in the following years, Park overcame early criticism of her acting skills and eventually gained respect as an actress in TV series such as Bitter Sweet Life, Coffee House and The Innocent Man, as well as the films The Fox Family, A Love, and The Scent.
My Girl is a 2005 South Korean television series starring Lee Da-hae, Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joon-gi and Park Si-yeon. It aired on SBS from December 14, 2005 to February 2, 2006 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 16 episodes. The romantic comedy series was a hit during its run—it placed number one in its timeslot and reached a peak viewership rating of 24.9%. It also catapulted actors Lee Da-hae, Lee Dong-wook and Lee Joon-gi into Korean Wave stardom.
