Laguna Limpia is a village and municipality in Chaco Province in northern Argentina. [1]
The village was developed due to the construction of the railroad in the area. The first families started to populate the area, mainly families of the railroad construction workers or their management staff.
It owes its name to the existence of a lake nearby, known for the clarity of its water. This made the first people who arrived to build the train station to call it "the station where the clear lake is", which in time was shortened to "Laguna Limpia" (Clear Lake).
The village was officially formed on 4 September 1944.
The population, according to the 2001 census [INDEC] was 1,1876 inhabitants, which more than doubled the population of 433 in the previous census of 1991. [2]
The main road connecting the town is Provincial Route 30 (unpaved), connecting to the north with Provincial Route 3 (then to Presidencia Roca and Pampa del Indio), and to the south to Ciervo Petiso and Colonias Unidas. The other Provincial road is Provincial Route 42, connecting to the southeast to the village of Las Garcitas.

Monte Quemado is a municipality and village in Santiago del Estero in Argentina. It lies on national road RN 16, a route that runs parallel to a branch of the General Manuel Belgrano Railway and the aqueduct diverter from the Salado del Norte River known as the Canal de Dios. Precisely in Monte Quemado it starts as a branch of the aqueduct, the branch that goes to the south is called the Virgen del Carmen Canal, which runs parallel to provincial road RP 5 that connects Monte Quemado with Campo Gallo. Another land route which coincides with the RN 16 and RP 5 in Monte Quemado is provincial road RP 4.
Barrio San Pedro Pescador is a village and municipality in Chaco Province in northern Argentina, located on the thin coastal levee of the Paraná River. The town is located in the Primero de Mayo Department and reports administratively to the Colonia Benitez municipality. It occupies the left side of the Chaco end of the General Manuel Belgrano Bridge, which links the province of Chaco with the city of Corrientes. The low-lying and floodable characteristics of the right bank of the Parana River are not conducive for human settlement, San Pedro Pescador being Chaco's only urban settlement located on the main channel of this river. Paradoxically the Parana River is the main source of livelihood (fishing) and its main threat, because of the periodic floods that force temporary abandonment by its inhabitants.
