Lakona Gerega (born 25 February 1996) is a Papua New Guinean javelin thrower. [1] He competed in the men's javelin throw at the 2022 Commonwealth Games where he ranked 12th with a 63.46 meter throw. [2] [3] His personal best of 66.73 m set at the 2024 Oceania Athletics Championships in Suva, Fiji, is also the current Papua New Guinean national record.
