Lalbiakzama is a Zoram People's Movement politician and current Speaker of Mizoram Legislative Assembly. [2] He had been elected in Mizoram Legislative Assembly from Chalfilh Assembly constituency [3] as candidate of Zoram People's Movement. [4]

He has completed his education up to Bachelors of Commerce from North-Eastern Hill University in 1998. [5]

He left the Indian National Congress, the party from which he was elected, for which he was disqualified from the parliament.
