The Lampeter-Strasburg School District is a school district in rural and suburban Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States, that serves the borough of Strasburg, as well as Strasburg and West Lampeter Townships. The census-designated place of Willow Street is mostly in the district. The district operates four schools on its campus, serves approximately 3,000 attending students, and is overseen by its nine-member school board led by president Melissa Herr. [4]
The Lampeter-Strasburg School District includes Lampeter-Strasburg High School, Martin Meylin Middle School, Hans Herr Elementary School, and Lampeter Elementary School. All four buildings are on the district's campus in West Lampeter Township. Previously, the district operated Willow Street Elementary School and Strasburg Elementary School, which closed in 2008 and 2013 respectively. [5] [6]
Lampeter-Strasburg baseball has been among its strongest programs. 2005 graduate Jeff Bianchi was selected in the second round of the 2005 Major League Baseball draft after Lampeter-Strasburg won the Pennsylvania state title in baseball. [7]

Upper Providence Township is a township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States, located around and north of the borough of Media, and about 15 miles (24 km) west of center city Philadelphia. West Oak Lane is a neighborhood in the Northwestern Philadelphia. The neighborhood was developed primarily between the early 1920s and late 1930s, with the areas near to Cedarbrook constructed after World War II. At the northeast corner of Limekiln Pike and Washington Lane was the site of the Cedar Park Inn, a historic tavern built in the early 19th century, which was torn down sometime after 1931 as the neighborhood was being fully developed.

Pennsylvania Route 896 is a north–south state highway located in the counties of Chester and Lancaster in southeastern Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at the Maryland state line just south of Strickersville in London Britain Township. South of the state line, the road continues as unsigned Maryland Route 896 for 0.21 mi (0.34 km), and then enters Delaware as Delaware Route 896 toward Newark. The northern terminus is at PA 340 in the East Lampeter Township community of Smoketown, just east of the city of Lancaster. The highway serves the borough of Strasburg, known for its Amish tourist attractions. The section south of the borough up to the state line is predominantly farmland. PA 896 follows a northwest-southeast orientation between the Maryland border and PA 340.
Pennsylvania Route 741 is a 26.3-mile-long (42.3 km) state highway that runs through western and southern Lancaster County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The western terminus is along Rohrerstown Road north of an intersection with Commercial Avenue near East Petersburg. The eastern terminus is at PA 41 in Gap. PA 741 heads south from East Petersburg and runs through the western suburbs of Lancaster. The route turns southeast and passes through Millersville before it turns east at New Danville. PA 741 forms a concurrency with U.S. Route 222 between Willow Street and Lampeter before it continues east through farmland in the Pennsylvania Dutch Country that is home to several Amish families, passing through Strasburg before reaching Gap.
Lampeter is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in West Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 1,669. It is a suburb of Lancaster and has a ZIP code of 17537. The community was named after Lampeter, in Wales.
The Choo Choo Barn, Traintown U.S.A. is a 1,700-square-foot (160 m2) train display in Strasburg, Pennsylvania that features over 150 hand-built animated figures and vehicles and 22 operating trains.
Conestoga Valley High School is a public secondary school in the Conestoga Valley School District in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States. Its enrollment during the 2010–11 academic year was 1,334, with 53% male students and 47% female. Its current principal is Michael Smith, who was hired in 2020.
The Hans Herr House, also known as the Christian Herr House, is a historic home located in West Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1719, and is a 1 1/2-story, rectangular sandstone Germanic dwelling. It measures 37 feet, 9 inches, by 30 feet, 10 inches. It is the oldest dwelling in Lancaster County and the oldest Mennonite meetinghouse in America. The Mennonites who worshipped there formed the nucleus of what became the Willow Street Mennonite Congregation. It was restored to its 1719 appearance in 1972–73.
