Lance Woolridge (born 30 July 1991) is a rally driver from South Africa. [1]

A two-time Class T champion in the South African Cross Country Series, [2] he was signed by Veloce Racing as reserve driver for the inaugural season of the new electric off-road racing series Extreme E in 2021. [3] He made his series debut at the season-ending Jurassic X-Prix in Dorset, replacing Stéphane Sarrazin, [4] and was subsequently promoted to full-time driver for 2022 alongside Christine GZ. [5]

Stéphane Jean-Marc Sarrazin is a French professional racing driver. He has won races across a number of single-seater, sportscar and rallying disciplines and competitions, was French Formula Renault champion in 1994, and Le Mans Series champion in both 2007 and 2010. He has finished on the podium six times at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, including four outright second positions, although he has never won. He participated in one Formula One Grand Prix, the 1999 Brazilian Grand Prix, for Minardi as a replacement for Luca Badoer, who had injured his wrist. He suffered a big spin in the race coming up to the start-finish straight on lap 31 and scored no championship points. He also carried out testing duties for the Prost Grand Prix team during the 1999–2001 Formula One seasons and for Toyota Racing in their first season in 2002.

Extreme E Electric auto racing series

Extreme E is an FIA-sanctioned international off-road racing series that uses spec silhouette electric SUVs to race in remote parts of the world, such as the Saudi Arabian desert or the Arctic. All racing locations are chosen to raise awareness for some aspects of climate change and Extreme E maintains a "Legacy Programme" which intends to provide social and environmental support for those locations. The series also promotes gender equality in motorsport by mandating that all teams consist of a female and a male driver who share equal driving duties.

The Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team is a German racing team which competes in Formula E, which is organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The team made its debut at the 2019 Diriyah ePrix, as part of the 2019–20 season. Mercedes-Benz will have concluded their involvement with the team at the end of the 2021–22 Formula E World Championship. The team will be taken over by McLaren after the 2021–22 Formula E World Championship.

After an off-road racing career in America, competing with the team Dynamic Racing, Zonca raced in Europe with the Avatel Telecom Race Team. In late 2020, Zonca scored a third place win in the Andalucia Rally round of the FIA World Cross Country Championship. She is now competing in the new all-electric off-road racing championship Extreme E for Veloce Racing alongside teammate Lance Woolridge.

2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series 28th season of third-tier NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

The 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is the 28th season of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season started with the NextEra Energy 250 on February 18 at Daytona International Speedway, and will end with the Lucas Oil 150 on November 4 at Phoenix Raceway. This is the final season of the Truck Series with Camping World as the title sponsor, as CEO Marcus Lemonis announed the brand would not return for the 2023 season.

The 2021 Extreme E Championship was the inaugural season of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series. It started on 3 April with the Desert X-Prix in Saudi Arabia.

Veloce Racing is a British motor racing team founded by Jean-Éric Vergne, Adrian Newey and Rupert Svendsen-Cook that competes in the all-electric off-road racing championship Extreme E and formerly in the all-female single-seater racing series, W Series.
