Larisa Viktorovna Viktorova (Russian : Лариса Викторовна Викторова; born 5 September 1943) is a retired Russian swimmer who won two medals at the 1958 European Aquatics Championships. [1] She also participated in the 1960 Summer Olympics and finished eighth in the 4×100 m medley event. [2] Between 1958 and 1964 she set 21 national records and won 15 medals at national championships (8 gold), in backstroke, freestyle and medley relay events. After retirement she worked at the Baikal-Amur Mainline and as a swimming coach. In the 1990s she moved to the United States. [3] [4]

Larisa Alexandrovna Peleshenko is a retired Russian shot putter best known for winning the Olympic silver medal in 2000. In her early career she won European Indoor silver medals, but in February 1995 she received a four-year drugs ban. Having originally won the 1995 World Indoor Championships, she lost the medal. She won the 2001 Indoor Championships and finished fourth at the World Championships the same year, and retired at the end of the season.

Larisa Yurievna Selezneva is a Russian former pair skater who represented the Soviet Union. With her husband Oleg Makarov, she is the 1984 Olympic bronze medalist, 1985 World silver medalist, 1988 World bronze medalist, and two-time European champion. They were coached by Igor Moskvin.

Galina Nikolayevna Prozumenshchikova was a Soviet breaststroke swimmer who also competed in medley relays. She won five Olympic medals in 1964, 1968 and 1972 and five European Championships medals in 1966 and 1970. Her first Olympic medal, the gold in 200 m breaststroke in 1964, was the first Olympic gold in swimming for the Soviet Union. From 1964 to 1966, she set five world records: four in 200 m and one in 100 m breaststroke events. Between 1963 and 1972, she won 15 national titles and set 27 national records.

Svetlana Viktorovna Babanina is a retired Soviet swimmer who competed at the 1964 and 1968 Summer Olympics. In 1964, she won bronze medals in the 4 × 100 m medley relay and 200 m individual breaststroke, whereas in 1968 she finished in seventh and sixth place in the 100 m and 200 m breaststroke, respectively. Babanina won the 200 m event at the 1965 Universiade; she competed at the European Championships in 1962 and 1966, but did not medal. Domestically she won five titles: in the 400 m individual medley, 4 × 100 m freestyle relay (1963) and 100 m and 200 m breaststroke (1964). In 1964–1965 she set two world records in the 100 m breaststroke.

Larisa Veniaminovna Gorchakova is a Russian backstroke swimmer, who won a bronze medal at the 1982 World Aquatics Championships and three medals at the 1981 European Aquatics Championships. She also competed at the 1980 Summer Olympics and finished sixth in the 100 m and eights in the 200 m backstroke events. Between 1981 and 1984, she won five national titles (USSR).

Larisa Yuryevna Belokon is a Soviet breaststroke swimmer who mostly competed in the 100 m and 200 m breastroke and 4 × 100 m medley relay. In these events she won a bronze and two silver medals at the 1981 European Aquatics Championships and three gold medals at the 1983 Summer Universiade. She missed the 1984 Summer Olympics due to the boycott by the Soviet Union and took part in the Friendship Games instead, winning three medals in the same three events.

Darya Viktorovna Shmelyova is a retired Russian swimmer who won silver medals in the 200 m and 400 m medley at the 1993 European Aquatics Championships. She competed in the same events at the 1996 Summer Olympics and 1991 and 1995 European championships, but finished outside the medals.

Larisa Nikolayevna Tsaryova is a retired Russian swimmer who won three bronze medals at the 1978 World Aquatics Championships. She competed in five events at the 1976 and 1980 Summer Olympics and finished fourth in the 4 × 100 m medley relay and fifth in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay in 1976. In 1980, her freestyle relay was disqualified for improper changeover.

Darya Viktorovna Parshina is a Russian former swimmer, who specialized in long-distance freestyle events. She set a junior European record of 4:10.79 to claim the 400 m freestyle title at the 2004 European Junior Swimming Championships in Lisbon, Portugal. She is a member of the Penza Army Sports Club, and is trained by her long-time coach and mentor Natalia Kozlova.

Anastasia Viktorovna Bratchikova is a Russian female freestyle wrestler who currently competes in the 68 kg weight category. Bratchikova is a three-time National champion with her latest national title being captured in Smolensk in August 2018. Bratchikova is also a two-time European champion, having won gold in Novi Sad in 2017 and in Kaspiysk in 2018.
