Lauren Lueders (born September 8, 1987) is an American basketball player.
Lueders played her high school basketball at Saxony Lutheran in Missouri. [1] She was a three-year starter for the Crusaders boys' basketball team. It was a small, private school in Jackson, Missouri that did not adopt a girls' basketball team until 2006. In her senior year, she was named the team captain. In her three years, the Crusaders had a 75-24 record. Statistically, she averaged 9.1 ppg and 6.0 apg as the squad's starting point guard and won a pair of conference championships. Following her senior season, she was a first-team All-State selection. Lueders was also a finalist for Miss Show-Me Basketball, an award presented by the Missouri Coaches Association. She participated in the St. John's Sports Medicine All-Star Game with the top girls' basketball players in Missouri and scored 16 points and added eight rebounds to lead the White squad. She also played AAU ball for Mike Taylor's St. Louis Gameface. [2]
In 2006-07, she appeared in 29 of Vanderbilt's 34 games as a freshman and made 12 starts in the middle of the season. her first collegiate start was on Dec. 3 at UAB. After the start, she remained in the starting lineup through the Florida game in January. In her freshman year, she averaged 3.2 points in 10.8 minutes per game. On three occasions, she scored in double-figures, including a personal-best 12 points against Indiana State in the championship of the 2006 VU Holiday Classic. She shot 43.2 percent from behind the arc to rank fourth on the nation's best three-point shooting team. Statistically, she also connected on 82 percent of her free throws. Season highs with four assists and three steals were posted against Dartmouth. [2] In 2007-08, she hit multiple three-pointers in 14 games. Against South Carolina, she scored 11 points including three three-pointers against South Carolina. Her first SEC points of the season was six points against Ole Miss. As a starter, Lueders averaged nearly 10 points per game as a starter. She matched her career high in steals with three against Colorado. She scored 13 points against St. Mary's and then scored a career-high 14 points, including 3-of-7 from behind-the-arc to lead VU over Iowa State. [2]

Suzanne Brigit Bird is an American professional basketball player for the Seattle Storm of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Bird was drafted by the Storm first overall in the 2002 WNBA draft and is considered to be one of the greatest players in WNBA history. As of 2021, Bird is the only WNBA player to win titles in three different decades. She held a front office position for the NBA's Denver Nuggets as their Basketball Operations Associate. Skylar Kierra Diggins-Smith is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Mercury in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Diggins was drafted third overall by the Tulsa Shock in the 2013 WNBA draft. In high school, she was the National Gatorade Player of the Year, the Gatorade Female Athlete of the Year. Diggins played point guard for Notre Dame, where she led Notre Dame to three consecutive Final Fours and two consecutive NCAA championship appearances. She finished her Notre Dame career ranked first in points and steals, second in assists, and as a two-time winner of the Nancy Lieberman Award as the top point guard in the nation.
The 2016 NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Tournament was played between March and April 2016, with the Final Four played April 3 & 5. The regional locations were four neutral sites: Bridgeport, Connecticut, Dallas, Lexington, Kentucky, and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Final Four was played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Connecticut won their fourth consecutive national championship, defeating Syracuse 82–51.
Kaleena Jordan Mosqueda-Lewis is an American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent. Prior to enrolling at the University of Connecticut she played for Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. She played on the USA Basketball U16 National Team, where she helped the team win the FIBA Americas U16 Championship Gold Medal. Mosqueda-Lewis was named the 2011 State Farm/WBCA High School Player of the Year by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association. In 2015 Mosqueda-Lewis was drafted third overall by the Seattle Storm, going on to win a WNBA championship with the franchise in 2018.
The 2005–06 Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball team was an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Big East Conference, representing Georgetown University. The team raced out to an 11–4 record including an 8–2 mark in out of conference play. John Thompson III's first notable win with the team took place on January 21, 2006 in the 16th game of the season when unranked Georgetown upset No. 1 Duke University. This was Georgetown's first win over a No. 1 ranked team in 21 years. The team received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Minneapolis Region Semifinal in the "Sweet Sixteen", where it came the closest of any team to beating the eventual national champion, Florida.
Kyle Alejandro Fuller Jr. also known as "Zoom Fuller", is an American basketball point guard. He played basketball for the Vanderbilt Commodores men's basketball team with his senior season in 2013–2014. Fuller played for Paulistano in 2017–2018 and won the NBB, he currently plays for Corinthians also in the NBB.

Amber Ramirez is an American basketball player with the Arkansas Razorbacks women's basketball team. She played her freshman and sophomore season with TCU In 2016 and 2017, then transferred to Arkansas. She sat out the 2018–19 season due to transfer rules, then played for Arkansas during her junior and senior years. Due to Covid rules, all active players were granted an additional year of eligibility, so she is playing in the 2021–22 season as a redshirt senior.
