Lawretta Ozoh (born 5 September 1990) is a Nigerian track athlete who specialises in sprinting. [1]
Ozoh was the silver medalist in the 200 metres and was a member of the gold medal-winning Nigerian 4 x 100 metre relay team at the 2012 African Championships in Athletics. [2]
In 2012 Ozoh tested positive for the anabolic steroid Stanozolol and was subsequently handed a two-year ban from sports. [3] [4]
The men's hammer throw competition at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens was held at the Olympic Stadium on 20–22 August. There were 35 competitors from 24 nations. The event was marred by doping-related disqualifications, with the original first- and third-place athletes being removed. After those disqualifications, the event was won by Koji Murofushi of Japan, the nation's first medal in the event. No silver medal was awarded. Eşref Apak of Turkey received bronze, Turkey's first medal in the event as well.

The 14th IAAF World Championships in Athletics was an international athletics competition held in Moscow, Russia, from 10–18 August 2013. She is an Olympic and World Championships medalist in the long jump, and a world medalist in the 200 meters. She also holds the Women's 100 meters Commonwealth Games record for the fastest time at 10.85 seconds. She is currently serving an 11 year ban for breaching multiple World Athletics anti-doping rules. Her ban expires on 30 July 2032.
Mariya Sergeyevna Savinova is a Russian former athlete who specialized in the 800-metres event. In 2017, she was found guilty of doping and was subsequently suspended from competition for four-years. In addition to the ban, she had three years of elite results nullified and was stripped of both her World Championship medals and her 2012 Olympic gold medal.

Oluwakemi Adekoya is a Nigerian-born track and field athlete who competes for Bahrain. She specialises in the 400 metres hurdles and has a personal best of 54.59 seconds – a Bahraini record. In January 2019, it was reported that Adekoya tested positive for an illegal steroid stanozolol in an out-of-competition test in November 2018 and was provisionally suspended. All of her results achieved after 24 August 2018 were also stripped.

Ngozi Whitney Onwumere, also known as Betty Onwumere is an American– Nigerian sprinter and bobsledder who competes internationally for Nigeria. In track, Onwumere specializes in the 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres and 4 x 100 metres relay. Ngozi claimed gold alongside Blessing Okagbare, Lawretta Ozoh and Cecilia Francis in the 4 x 100 metres relay at the 2015 All-Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo. She also represented Nigeria at the 2015 IAAF World Relays in Nassau, Bahamas. She represented Nigeria at the 2018 Winter Olympics in 2-women bobsled.
