Senegal has sent athletes to all Summer Olympic Games held since 1964. Unlike most surrounding nations, Senegal has never missed any Summer Olympics since its independence. Only once has the country won an Olympic medal: Amadou Dia Ba, who won a silver medal in the men's 400 metre hurdles in 1988. However, Abdoulaye Seye, representing France, won a bronze medal in the 200 metres in 1960, just two months after the short lived Mali Federation gained independence and a few days after Senegal seceded from the federation. Senegal will host the 2026 Summer Youth Olympics in Dakar.
Lorenz Nieberl was a West German bobsledder who competed in the early 1950s. At the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo, he became the first person to win both the two-man and four-man competitions at the same Winter Olympics. Nieberl also finished sixth in the four-man event at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Felix Endrich was a Swiss bobsledder who competed in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Competing in two Winter Olympics, he won the gold medal along with brakeman Fritz Waller in the two-man event at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz.
Eswatini first participated at the Olympic Games in 1972. They missed the next two games but returned for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles and have appeared in all the games since then. They made their first and only appearance at the Winter Olympics in 1992. In all competitions they have yet to win a medal.
The British Virgin Islands has competed in every Summer Olympic Games since 1984. The best placement by an athlete from the country is fourth, by Kyron McMaster in men's 400m hurdles in 2020.
The first Olympics that Bhutan participated in was the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. From its first appearance in 1984 until 2008, Bhutan was only represented by archers at the Olympics. In the 2012 London Olympics, Bhutan sent its first non-archer to compete at an olympic games: Kunzang Choden, who competed in the women's 10m air-rifle event. The 2012 Bhutan team contained no men. Bhutan has never won an Olympic medal. In spite of being very mountainous, it has never competed in the Winter Games.
Monaco first participated at the Olympic Games in 1920, and has sent athletes to compete in most Summer Olympic Games since then, missing only the 1932 Games in Los Angeles, United States, the 1956 Games in Melbourne, Australia, and the boycotted 1980 Moscow Games. Monaco has also participated in every Winter Olympic Games since 1984.
Equatorial Guinea first participated at the Olympic Games in 1984, and has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Olympic Games since then. The nation has never participated in the Winter Olympic Games.
