Lee Capes (born 3 October 1961) is an Australian former field hockey player who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics, winning the gold medal. [1]
Her husband Michael Nobbs, daughter Kaitlin Nobbs, sister Michelle Capes and brother-in-law Mark Hager have all represented their nation in the games in the same sport.
Percy Erskine Nobbs was a Canadian architect who was born in Haddington, East Lothian, and trained in the United Kingdom. Educated at the Edinburgh Collegiate School and Edinburgh University, he spent most of his career in the Montreal area. Often working in partnership with George Taylor Hyde, Nobbs designed a great many of what would become Montreal's heritage buildings and was a key Canadian proponent of the Arts and Crafts Movement in architecture. He served as the director of McGill University's School of Architecture for ten years and designed many buildings on the campus as well as McGill's Coat of Arms, which continues to be used today.
Cape Verde sent a delegation to compete at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia from 15 September to 1 October 2000. This was Cape Verde's second appearance at a Summer Olympic Games after the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta four years prior. The Cape Verdean delegation to Sydney consisted of two track and field athletes, Isménia do Frederico and António Zeferino, who were both making their second Olympic appearance. Do Frederico did not advance out of her heat in the women's 100 meters, while Zeferino finished 67th of 81 finishers in the men's marathon.
Mark William Hager is a retired Australian field hockey player, who competed in two Summer Olympics for his native country. After the fourth place in 1988 he won the bronze medal with The Kookaburras at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia where he was the captain.
Robin Bell is a South African-born, Australian slalom canoeist who competed from the late 1990s to the late 2000s. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the C1 event in Beijing in 2008.
Lee Michelle Naylor is a retired sprinter from Australia. She qualified to the quarter-finals in the 400 metres at the 1996 Summer Olympics before finishing 8th and ran on her national 4 × 400 metres relay team that finished sixth in the qualifying round. At the 2000 Summer Olympics she repeated qualifying to the quarter-finals then finishing 8th in the quarterfinals.

Lee Sun-hee is a female South Korean taekwondo practitioner and Olympic champion. She competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where she won the gold medal in the 67 kg competition. She won 6–3 in the final against Trude Gundersen of Norway.
Cape Verde competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Their participation marked their fourth Olympic appearance. Two Cape Verdeans competed in the Olympic games: Nelson Cruz participated as a marathon runner, and Wania Monteiro participated in gymnastics. Another athlete, Lenira Santos, was selected to compete in athletics but was forced to pull out due to injury. Monteiro was selected as the flag bearer for both the opening and closing ceremonies. Neither of the Cape Verdeans progressed beyond the first round.

Karen Lynn Roberts is a retired female field hockey player from South Africa, who represented her native country at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. There she captained the women's national team that finished in tenth place.
Cape Verde competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics which were held in London, United Kingdom from 27 July to 12 August 2012. The country's participation at London marked its fifth appearance in the Summer Olympics since its debut in 1996. The delegation included Ruben Sança, a long-distance runner; Lidiane Lopes, a sprinter; and Adysângela Moniz, a judoka. Moniz and Sança were also selected as the flag bearers for the opening and closing ceremonies respectively. Of the three Cape Verdean athletes, only Moniz progressed further than the first round.
Michael Jack Nobbs is a former international level field hockey player who has represented Australia as a member of the Australia men's national field hockey team at the 1984 Summer Olympics. He also coached the India men's national field hockey team from 2011 to 2013.
Michelle Edith-Hager is an Australian field hockey player who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics and in the 1992 Summer Olympics. In the 1988 Summer Olympics she won a gold medal as part of the Australian national hockey team.

Niall Guthrie is a New Zealand rugby sevens player and former New Zealand international touch football captain. She is a member of New Zealand's women's national rugby sevens team and was selected for their squad to the 2016 Summer Olympics, where New Zealand claimed the silver medal behind Australia. In touch football she won gold at the 2005 Youth World Cup and silver at the 2011 Touch Football World Cup.
Kaitlin Nobbs is an Australian field hockey player. She has played for the Australian national team, the Hockeyroos.
Jaimee Nobbs is an Australian former competitive figure skater. She is a three-time Australian ladies' bronze medallist.
