Lee Du-Haeng (born 25 December 1981) is a South Korean runner. Starting with the middle-distances 800 metres and 1500 metres, he graduated to the long distances 5000 and 10,000 metres and finally the marathon race.
At the 2001 East Asian Games he finished sixth in the 800 metres and won a bronze medal in the 1500 metres. He finished tenth at the 2001 Universiade (1500 m), twelfth at the 2002 Asian Games, twelfth at the 2003 Universiade (half marathon) and eighth at the 2007 Asian Championships (5000 m). At the 2005 East Asian Games he won the bronze medal in the 5000 metres and silver medal in the 10,000 metres. At the 2009 Asian Championships he finished eighth in both the 5000 and 10,000 metres. On global level he competed at the 2000 World Junior Championships and finished lowly at the 2006 World Cross Country Championships. [2] He then specialized in the marathon race [ citation needed ] and finished 32nd at the 2012 Summer Olympics. [2]
Sonia O'Sullivan is an Irish former track and field athlete. She won a gold medal in the 5000 metres at the 1995 World Championships, and a silver medal in the 5000 metres at the 2000 Olympic Games. Her 2000 m world record of 5:25.36, set in 1994 stood until 2017.

Christian Belz is a Swiss long-distance runner. Yemaneberhan "Yeman" Crippa is an Ethiopian-born Italian long-distance runner. He won the gold medal in the 10,000 metres and bronze for the 5000 metres at the European Athletics Championships in 2022, and bronze in the 10,000 m in 2018. Crippa claimed four medals in the age-group races at the European Cross Country Championships and a bronze in the senior race in 2019.
Mariana Chirilă is a Romanian female distance runner who competed in events ranging from 800 metres to the marathon. Individually she won gold medals in the 3000 metres at the 1986 Goodwill Games and the 1992 Balkan Athletics Championships, and won the senior race at the Balkan Cross Country Championships in 1985. She represented her country at the European Athletics Championships in 1986, twice at the Universiade, and twice at the IAAF World Women's Road Race Championships. Her highest global ranking was eighth in the 3000 m for the 1986 season.
