Leo Esser (born February 17, 1907, date of death unknown) was a German diver who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics and in the 1936 Summer Olympics. In 1932 he finished fifth in the 3 metre springboard event. Four years later he finished sixth in the 3 metre springboard competition. [1]

For the first time, the competition was held exclusively from the 3 metre springboard. Divers performed three compulsory dives – running pike dive forward, standing backward straight somersault, running forward half-screw – and three dives of the competitor's choice for a total of six dives. The competition was held on Wednesday 10 August 1932. Eight divers from six nations competed.
