Lia Parolari (born 30 July 1990) [1] is an Italian artistic gymnast who represented Italy at the 2008 Summer Olympics where she finished fourteenth in the individual all-around final. [3] Parolari was a member of the Italian team that won a gold medal at the 2006 European Championships. [4] She is the 2008 Italian Champion in the all-around. [5]
Parolari competed alongside Vanessa Ferrari, Monica Bergamelli, Federica Macrì, and Carlotta Giovannini at the 2006 European Championships and helped Italy win their first European team gold medal by competing on the uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. [4] [2] She also competed at the 2007 World Championships with Ferrari, Bergamelli, Macrì, Francesca Benolli, and Silvia Zanolo where the Italian team finished fourth behind the United States, China, and Romania. Parolari won a silver medal with the Italian team at the inaugural 2008 City of Jesolo Trophy. [7] She then competed at the 2008 European Championships where the Italian team finished fourth, and Parolari finished sixth in the uneven bars event final. [8] She won the gold medal in the all-around at the 2008 Italian Championships with a total score of 57.700. [5] She was then selected to compete at the 2008 Olympic Games alongside Vanessa Ferrari, Carlotta Giovannini, Monica Bergamelli, Francesca Benolli, and Federica Macrì, and they finished tenth in the qualification round. [9] Parolari qualified for the all-around final where she finished fourteenth with a total score of 58.925. [3]
At the 2009 City of Jesolo Trophy, Parolari won the all-around gold medal along with a team gold medal. [7] She then competed at the 2009 European Championships and qualified for the floor exercise event final where she finished eighth after falling. [10] Her final major international competition was the 2010 World Championships where she helped the Italian team finish eighth. [11] She was the alternate for the Italian team at the 2011 World Championships. [2]
Parolari announced her retirement in 2012 and began coaching at her home club, Estate '83. [2]

Vanessa Ferrari is a retired Italian artistic gymnast. She was the 2006 World All-Around Champion and competed for Italy at the 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal on floor exercise in 2020. In doing so, Ferrari became the first Italian to win an individual Olympic medal in Women's Artistic Gymnastics, and the first medallist for the Italian women's team since the 1928 Summer Olympics. She is a five-time World medallist and eight-time European medallist, and is currently the most decorated Italian gymnast of all time.
Carlotta Giovannini is an Italian artistic gymnast who competed at her first international competition in 2003.
Monica Roberta Bergamelli is a former Italian artistic gymnast who represented Italy at the 2000, 2004, and 2008 Olympic Games. She was a member of the Italian team that won the gold medal at the 2006 European Championships.
Cristina Elena Grigoraş is a retired Romanian artistic gymnast. She is a two-time Olympic medalist with the team. Individually, she won four medals at the 1981 European Championships. She is best known for a skill on the balance beam named after her: forward salto tucked with ½ twist (180°) take off from both legs.

She represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics and was the third reserve for the all-around final. She is also a two-time World Cup silver medalist.
Giorgia Villa is an Italian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the teams that won silver at the 2024 Olympic Games and bronze at the 2019 World Championships. Additionally, she was part of the gold-winning teams at both the 2022 Mediterranean Games and the 2022 European Championships. Asia D'Amato is an Italian artistic gymnast. She represented Italy at the 2020 Olympic Games. She was a member of the teams that won bronze at the 2019 World Championships and gold at the 2022 European Championships. Individually she is the 2021 World vault silver medalist, the 2022 European all-around champion and vault silver medalist, the 2019 and 2020 Italian national champion, and the 2018 Junior European vault champion. She is a member of the Italian National Team and is the twin sister of Alice D'Amato.
Alice D'Amato is an Italian artistic gymnast. She represented Italy at the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games. Individually she is the 2024 Olympic balance beam champion. On the uneven bars she is the 2023 and 2024 European champion, the 2022 European silver medalist, and the 2019 European bronze medalist. Additionally she is a two-time European all-around medalist. She was a member of the teams that won silver at the 2024 Olympic Games, bronze at the 2019 World Championships, and gold at the 2022 and 2024 European Championships. She is the twin sister of Asia D'Amato.
Federica Macrì is an Italian former artistic gymnast who competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She was a member of the Italian team that won the gold medal at the 2006 European Championships.
Martina Maggio is an Italian artistic gymnast. She represented Italy at the 2020 Olympic Games. She was a member of the gold medal winning teams at the 2022 Mediterranean Games and the 2022 European Championships.
