In 2010, Kill Your Stereo said "When Angelas Dish released the Lie Die EP in 2005 it was obvious that this would be a band with longevity, in a scene that had so few. That record was fantastic, there was not a single thing wrong with it, and it quickly gained the band a slew of big name support tours which introduced them to many new fans." [3]

Angelas Dish is an Australian indie pop band from the Central Coast of New South Wales, formed in 2003. The four-piece currently consists of songwriting duo, brothers Michael and Joshua Harris, teamed up with bassist Peter Clarke, and drummer Christopher Allison. Michael Harris is the lead singer and most experienced musician of the group. There has been ongoing tension between the brothers, as Joshua has often lived in the shadow of his older sibling, as a result, Joshua Harris has made several solo albums.

Angela McCluskey is a Scottish singer-songwriter based in California. She performs as a solo artist and as a member of the folk rock group Wild Colonials. McCluskey has also provided vocals for Curio and recorded the European dance hit and US Mitsubishi commercial hit "Breathe" among other songs with Télépopmusik. Angela also sang "Beautiful Things" for American Express and more recently her voice can be heard on the Schick Quattro commercial singing "I’m Not the Girl". Her songs have appeared on the soundtracks for the films Rachel Getting Married, Sherrybaby, The Beat That My Heart Skipped. Her music has also been featured in the TV series Grey's Anatomy.

Wishful Thinking are an Australian pop-punk band that formed in 1998, disbanded in 2006 and reformed in 2019. The line-up includes Carl W. Jackson on guitar and lead vocals, Alistair Elkins on bass guitar, Lachlan Jackson on guitar, and Leigh Thompson on drums. Brothers Carl & Lachlan Jackson formed the band with their neighbour Brendan Lichtendonk on drums in 1998 whilst living in Launceston, Tasmania. Carl & Lachlan relocated the band to Melbourne in 2001 and Leigh Thompson joined on drums. They were one of Australia's "buzz" punk/pop acts and were the first band signed to Boomtown Records in 2002. Wishful Thinking's musical style was pop punk and followed in the style of bands such as Blink 182 and New Found Glory.
