The Indonesian football league system is a series of league system for association football clubs in Indonesia. Since 1994, Liga Indonesia is the league competition featuring association football clubs, as a result of two existing top-flight football leagues merger: Perserikatan (amateur) and Galatama. Liga Indonesia is managed by PSSI, the Indonesian national football federation.
Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Kuta Raja, commonly known as Persiraja, is an Indonesian football club based in Banda Aceh, Aceh. They currently compete in the Liga 2. They play their home matches either at Harapan Bangsa Stadium or H. Dimurthala Stadium. Their most memorable achievements is when they became champion of Perserikatan in 1980.
Piala Indonesia is the professional annual cup competition for football clubs in Indonesia. Originally, it started from the semi-professional football era in 1985 as Piala Liga, which ran until 1989 under Galatama competition. The Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) organized the full professional cup competition from 2005 until now. Traditionally, the tournament involves all the clubs from the whole layers in football competitions in Indonesia, which are Liga 1, Liga 2, and Liga 3.
Liga 1 U-19 is a junior level league of participating clubs in the Liga 1. From 2008 to 2014, this youth league was an under-21 league known as the Indonesia Super League U-21. From the 2017 season onwards, the competition age limit decreased from under-21 to under-19. Building and managing a complete U-19 team is one of the requirements for clubs participating in the Liga 1, as regulated by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). From 2019, the league is replaced by Elite Pro Academy.
Indonesian Premier League was the highest level competition for football clubs in Indonesia from 2011 to 2013. This competition was managed by PT Liga Prima Indonesia Sportindo, under supervision of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). IPL replaced Indonesia Super League (ISL) as the highest-level football league in Indonesia.
Liga Indonesia Second Division is the fourth level football league in Indonesian football competition system. Currently, this competition, along with First Division and Third Division, is managed by the Amateur League Board of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI).
Liga Primer Indonesia was an Indonesian independent football league held in 2011. It was managed by Konsorsium Liga Premier Indonesia and PT Liga Primer Indonesia and was not recognized (initially) by the PSSI. Nineteen clubs took part in its inaugural and only season which was running from January to May 2011. The first kick-off was held on 8 January 2011 in Manahan Stadium, Solo, Central Java. Despite its original full-season schedule, the league was then stopped during the half-season break when Persebaya 1927 was currently leading the table.

The 2018 Liga 3 was the second season of the Liga 3 under its current name, the third season under its current league structure, and the only amateur league football competition in Indonesia.

The 2019 Liga 1 U-16 was the second season of the Liga 1 Elite Pro Academy U-16. The league is currently the youth level (U-16) football league in Indonesia. The season started on 19 April and finished with a final on 6 October 2019.
The 2019 Liga 1 U-18 was the first season of the Liga 1 Elite Pro Academy U-18. The league is currently the youth level (U-18) football league in Indonesia. The season started on 15 June and finished with a final on 25 November 2019.
The Elite Pro Academy is an Indonesian system of youth football leagues that are managed, organised and controlled by the PSSI. The system was introduced in early 2018 and was active for the first time during the 2018 season. The system covers the under-16 since 2018, under-18 and under-20 age groups since 2019 & under-14 age groups since 2022. The league runs in conjunction with the Liga 1 as a developmental league. It is contested by 18 teams which compete in the Liga 1.
The Liga 1 Putri, is the top-flight women's football league in Indonesia. Supervised by the PSSI, the league is participated by ten clubs, with each side fielding a team in the Liga 1 men's league. The league's inaugural season began on 5 October 2019.
The 2020 Liga 1, also known as Shopee Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth season of Liga 1 under its current name and the 11th season of the top-flight Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. The season started on 29 February 2020 and was suspended on 16 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The season was abandoned and declared void on 20 January 2021.
2022–23 Liga 3 is the seventh season of the Liga 3 under the current name and the eighth season under the current league structure, and the only amateur league football competition in Indonesia. The tournament is organized by Provincial Association of PSSI for the provincial round and PSSI central for the national round.
