Tracy Lauren Marrow, better known by his stage name Ice-T, is an American vocalist working in both the rap and heavy metal genres, as well as a songwriter, actor, and producer. He began his career as an underground rapper in the 1980s and was signed to Sire Records in 1987, when he released his debut album Rhyme Pays. The following year, he founded the record label Rhyme $yndicate Records and released another album, Power, which would go platinum. He also released several other albums that went gold.
O'Shea Jackson Sr., known professionally as Ice Cube, is an American rapper, actor, and filmmaker. His lyrics on N.W.A's 1988 album Straight Outta Compton contributed to gangsta rap's widespread popularity, and his political rap solo albums AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted (1990), Death Certificate (1991), and The Predator (1992) were all critically and commercially successful. Eric Lynn Wright, known professionally as Eazy-E, was an American rapper who propelled West Coast rap and gangsta rap by leading the group N.W.A and its label, Ruthless Records. He is often referred to as the "Godfather of Gangsta Rap".
Three 6 Mafia is an American hip hop group from Memphis, Tennessee, formed in 1991. Emerging as a horror-themed underground hip hop group, they would eventually go on to enjoy mainstream success. The group's 1995 debut album Mystic Stylez would go on to become an influential cult classic. They have released music on independent labels such as Prophet Entertainment and their own Hypnotize Minds label, as well as Relativity, Loud, and Columbia Records.
Compton's Most Wanted (C.M.W.) is an American gangsta rap group and part of the early West Coast hip hop scene. The leaders of the group are MC Eiht and Tha Chill.
Roger McBride, better known by his stage name King T, is an American West Coast Hip hop rapper from Compton, California. Emerging as one of Compton's earliest hip hop artists, he was signed to Capitol Records, where he released his debut album Act a Fool in 1988 with the hit singles "Act a Fool," "Payback's A Mutha," "The Coolest," and "Bass” [Remix], all of which were considered hip-hop classics. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he worked primarily with producer DJ Pooh, and was responsible for the rise of Tha Alkaholiks, whom he helped guide into the rap game. King T is also the CEO of his own record label, King T Inc.
Tha Doggfather is the second studio album by American rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg. It was released on November 12, 1996, by Death Row and Interscope Records. After the success of his debut album Doggystyle (1993), Snoop was arrested and charged with murder and in 1995, spent time preparing for the case that went to trial. On February 20, 1996, he was cleared of all charges and began working on his second album without Dr. Dre providing work as a record producer. This was Snoop's final album on Death Row until 2022, when he acquired the rights to the Death Row trademarks from MNRK Music Group, releasing BODR the same year. This would also be his last album under the moniker Snoop Doggy Dogg. Recording sessions took place from February 1996 to October 1996, with Suge Knight as the executive producer on the album, alongside the additional production from several record producers such as DJ Pooh, Daz Dillinger, Soopafly and L.T. Hutton; as well as guest appearances from Charlie Wilson, Kurupt, Tray Dee and Warren G, among others.
People Under the Stairs was an American hip hop duo from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2019. Since their inception, the group consisted solely of Christopher Portugal and Michael Turner. The group employed a DIY work ethic of sampling, MCing, DJing, and producing all of their output.
"It Was a Good Day" is a song by American rapper Ice Cube, released on February 23, 1993 as the second single from his third solo album, The Predator (1992). "Boyz-n-the-Hood" is the debut single by Eazy-E, then leader of a new rap group, N.W.A. Released in March 1987, the single was a local hit, reissued, by year's end, on N.W.A's EP titled N.W.A. and on the unauthorized compilation album N.W.A. and the Posse.
"Vato" is the first single by Snoop Dogg from his album Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. The song features B-Real and was produced by The Neptunes. The word "vato" is Chicano slang for "homie".

Bad Rabbits is an American band from Boston, Massachusetts, founded in September 2007. The band consists of Fredua Boakye (vocals), Sheel Davé (drums), Salim Akram (guitar), Graham Masser (bass), and Santiago Araujo (guitar). All five members of the band originally played in the Boston-based band The Eclectic Collective, which in 2007 they reworked and renamed Bad Rabbits. The band released a demo in 2008 entitled The Bad EP which was followed up by their debut EP, Stick Up Kids, in December 2009. Their first album American Love was released on May 14, 2013, and on July 19, 2014, Bad Rabbits released Dusted – an acoustic EP. They have won four Boston Music Awards, including Pop/R&B Live Artist of the Year in 2014. Bad Rabbits also won the 2010 Phoenix Music Poll Award for Most Downloaded Band. From 2007 to 2010, they performed as the backing band for rapper Slick Rick. They have been a part of five national tours, including the 2011 and 2014 Vans Warped Tour, the 2013 Don Broco Priorities UK tour, the 2014 Allen Stone US Tour and their own UK tour in 2014.
This is the discography of American hip-hop artist DJ Drama. His first album, Gangsta Grillz: The Album, was released in December 2007. It contained two singles: "5000 Ones", featuring Nelly, T.I., Yung Joc, Willie the Kid, Young Jeezy, Diddy and Twista, and "The Art of Storytellin' Part 4", featuring OutKast and Marsha Ambrosius. His second album was released two years later. On Gangsta Grillz: The Album there were again two singles. The first single is "Day Dreaming", featuring Akon, Snoop Dogg and T.I. The second single of the album is "Ridiculous", featuring Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, Lonnie Mac and OJ da Juiceman. Both singles weren't as successful as "5000 Ones" in the United States, but "Day Dreaming" did peak at #33 on the New Zealander RIANZ singles chart and at #59 on the Swedish Sverigetopplistan singles chart. In 2011 DJ Drama released his third studio album, Third Power. It was his first album not to be released in the Gangsta Grillz series. The lead single of the album is "Oh My", featuring Fabolous, Roscoe Dash and Wiz Khalifa. It was Drama's first song in the Hot 100. It peaked at #95. Besides it peaked at #18 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #12 on the Hot Rap Songs. On March 1, 2012, DJ Drama announced the release of his fourth album: Quality Street Music. For the album DJ Drama released a new single: "We in This Bitch", featuring Young Jeezy, T.I., Ludacris and Future. It peaked at #68 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. The next single, "My Moment, featuring 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, & Jeremih, peaked at #89 on the Hot 100 Singles chart, #24 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and #16 on the Hot Rap Songs. It becomes DJ Drama's most successful single to date.
A Person of Interest is the third studio album by American hip hop artist DJ Paul, released on October 22, 2012. Paul states that the album, which is a mix of gangsta rap and crunk, is aimed at the core Three 6 Mafia fans. Unlike his previous albums, A Person of Interest also incorporates influences from dubstep and electronic dance music. Featured artists are long-time collaborators Lil Wyte, Project Pat and Gucci Mane as well as upcoming artist Locodunit. The album peaked at number 34 on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 11 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums.
Alan Stanley Soucy Brinsmead, better known by the stage name Sinjin Hawke, is a Canadian-American electronic music producer and DJ.
35xxxv is the seventh studio album by the Japanese band One OK Rock. It was released on February 11, 2015. This is their first album recorded abroad, primarily in the US. The song "Mighty Long Fall" was the theme song of the 2014 sequel film Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno, while "Heartache" was used for the third film, Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends. "Mighty Long Fall" peaked at #2 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and stayed for 17 weeks.
