Lilit Stepanyan (born, 24 March 1981, Hrazdan, Soviet Armenia) is and Armenian politician and a current member of the Armenian Parliament for the Civil Contract.
She studied International Relations at the Yerevan State University from where she received a Bachelor of Science in 2002 and a master's degree in political sciences in 2004. [1] She took part in several programs organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Armenia. [1]
In 2002 she entered the public administration and was employed in Cadastre division of the Municipality in Hrazdan. [1] Between 2007 and 2018 she served in several positions in the Ministry of Education, becoming the director of the Kotayk branch of the National Institute of Education in 2017 until she assumed as the acting mayor of Hrazdan in July 2018. [1]
As the elected mayor of Hrazdan Aram Daniyelyan resigned in June 2018, she assumed as the acting mayor of Hrazdan in July 2018. [2] On 21 October 2018 she was confirmed over a popular vote. [2] While being an assistant to Armenian MP Sasun Mikayelyan, she was offered to become an independent candidate for Kotayk in the My Step Alliance, for which she was elected an MP in the Parliamentary elections of December 2018. [3] She was re-elected in the parliamentary elections of 2021, this time for the Civil Contract party. [4]
Kotayk, is a province (marz) of Armenia. It is located at the central part of the country. Its capital is Hrazdan and the largest city is Abovyan. It is named after the Kotayk canton of the historic Ayrarat province of Ancient Armenia.
Hrazdan is a town and urban municipal community in Armenia serving as the administrative centre of Kotayk Province, located 45 kilometres northeast of the capital Yerevan. As of the 2011 census, the population of the town is 41,875. It has lost a significant number of inhabitants since the 1989 census reported 59,000 people.

Edmon Hrachiki Marukyan is an Armenian lawyer and politician currently serving as ambassador-at-large of Armenia. He was a member of the National Assembly of Armenia from 2012 to 2021. He was elected to parliament for the first time as an independent in May 2012. He founded the Bright Armenia Party in 2015 and has served as its chairman since. He was reelected to the National Assembly in April 2017, leading the electoral list of the Way Out Alliance, an electoral alliance between Bright Armenia, Civil Contract and the Hanrapetutyun Party. He was elected to parliament again in the 2018 parliamentary elections, leading Bright Armenia's electoral list. Marukyan left parliament after Bright Armenia failed to pass the electoral threshold in the 2021 snap elections. He was appointed ambassador-at-large by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in March 2022.

The Way Out Alliance or Yelk Alliance or simply Yelk or Way Out was a liberal political alliance of three political parties in Armenia: Civil Contract, Bright Armenia and the Hanrapetutyun Party. It was formed on 12 December 2016, before the 2017 Armenian parliamentary election. Its leaders were Edmon Marukyan, Nikol Pashinyan, and Aram Sargsyan. The alliance was dissolved on 12 September 2018 after its constituent parties agreed to participate in the 2018 parliamentary elections separately.
Tigran Avinyan is an Armenian politician and businessman currently serving as the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan. He served as Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia from 2018 to 2021 in Nikol Pashinyan's government. He is a founding member of the ruling Civil Contract Party. He is currently the Civil Contract Party's mayoral candidate for the Yerevan City Council election which took place on 17 September 2023.

The My Step Alliance was a political alliance in Armenia formed by the Civil Contract party, the Mission Party and various independent representatives of civil society. It was formed in August 2018, before the 2018 Yerevan City Council election. The leader of the alliance was the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. Despite its dissolution as a national party in May 2021, the My Step Alliance operated in the Yerevan City Council until the end of its mandate in September 2023.
