Linda Harper-Brown (born March 20,1948) [2] is an American politician who served as a member of the Texas House of Representatives from 2003 to 2015. [3] She was a member of the House's Transportation Committee. [1] Harper-Brown was previously elected to the Irving,Texas,city council in 1997. [4] She was also a former school board member and Board President of the Irving Schools Foundation. [5]

Ralph Moody Hall was an American politician who served as the United States representative for Texas's 4th congressional district from 1981 to 2015. He was first elected in 1980,and was the chairman of the House Committee on Science,Space and Technology from 2011 to 2013. He was also a member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce. In 2004,he switched to the Republican Party after having been a member of the Democratic Party for more than 50 years.
Kenneth Michael Conaway is an American politician who was the U.S. representative for Texas's 11th congressional district from 2005 to 2021. He is a member of the Republican Party. The district Conaway represented is located in West Texas and includes Midland,Odessa,San Angelo,Brownwood,and Granbury. Conaway led the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections after the Intelligence Committee chair,Devin Nunes,recused himself. Aside from serving as the chair of the House Ethics Committee,he served as the chair of the House Agriculture Committee,and later its ranking member. Conaway indicated in July 2019 that he would not be seeking reelection. Conaway was succeeded by fellow Republican August Pfluger.
Texas's 13th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Texas that includes most of the Texas Panhandle,parts of Texoma and northwestern parts of North Texas. The principal cities in the district are Amarillo,Gainesville and Wichita Falls. It winds across the Panhandle into the South Plains,then runs east across the Red River Valley. Covering over 40,000 square miles (100,000 km2),it is the 19th-largest district by area in the nation,the 14th-largest that does not cover an entire state,as well as the second-largest in Texas behind the 23rd congressional district. After the 2020 census was completed,the 13th district was heavily redrawn to incorporate Denton,an increasingly Democratic-leaning suburb of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex which had previously anchored the 26th district. With a Cook Partisan Voting Index rating of R+26,it is one of the most Republican districts in Texas.
